My solution is to skip the soak entirely. I rinse them well with cold water before I start, then toss them directly in the pressure cooker with plenty of water (I like an 8:1 ratio)

I checked online. All varieties of canned tomatoes from my local grocery chain include Calcium Chloride. Walmart brand too. Also checked Target. Market pantry does, Hunts does, Cento whole tomatoes do not. (but cost over twice as much as store brand).

Remember folks, it’s ALWAYS better to donate money to charities as opposed to things. Donating things creates additional storage and logistics costs. Money allows charities to leverage bulk pricing, and to get the specific products they need to meet their demands.
