I had a hard time buying a good rice cooker. I’ve decided that I’d spend twice as much as the last one. I had a 30$ rice cooker for years, so I upgraded to a $60 model. It’s a T-Fal, and it produces better rice than my original. Maybe in 5 years when it breaks, I’ll spend $120 on a rice maker. Maybe it’ll do better

I used to rock Rosewill MX Brown keyboards, but the mini USB port that you used to attach the keyboard kept failing. It would pull off the circuit board. The quality of the PCB made it very difficult to repair (I consider myself reasonably capable with a soldering iron). I still have one at my office at work which is

Why use wasabi paste AND horseradish? The stuff you bought in the grocery store is just green horseradish.

This is all kayfabe.

My dad mapped the entire game, on graph paper. He had it hanging on our basement wall. He also had the entire Dragon Warrior game mapped. He loved mapping games. He had maps to every dungeon in The Bard’s Tale and full maps of dozens of Eamon games. It was really boring watching him play games because he never

I had an amazing pork chop yesterday. I fried it in a mix of olive oil and butter with rosemary for about 8 minutes per side at a medium low heat (hot enough to carmelize, but not hot enough to burn the rosemary), then into the oven til the internal temp was 135. Let sit for minutes, and cut in. Was awesome.

I’ve got a V6. I’ve had to repair the shell a couple of times with epoxy, cuz it kept cracking and I’ve replaced the battery once. It’s a good vacuum that I got for $200 (Sears open box discount after xmas one year). I would totally buy the new one, if it wasn’t stupid expensive. Dyson vacuums are nice, but not worth

I get the style, but this article is plain dishonest. I’ve watched servers rave about fancy bottles of wine and not know a damn thing about it, owners who’s wine list composition is a random assortment of wines picked from a distributor’s inventory to fit every price range. I’ve picked up flats of stemware from the

When I must summon my cats, I break out my best lady opera voice and go “kitty kitty kiiiittttyyy” in increasingly high octaves until they come, I can’t get any higher, or my wife yells at me for doing it.

Not a lot of articles written about these switches. I’d like to see more talk about novel switch designs.

You bring an extension cord.

We had one of those baby wipe warmers. They were awesome, except the one or two times we forgot to close the thing properly, and they dried out quickly. We tried buying bulk packs of wipes, but we couldn’t fit an entire big package of wipes in it, so we tried ziplocking the remainder, and that didn’t pan out too well.

I guess if you wanted to include Dracula, he could be an echo. I’d use Sypha/Grant as Assists.

I do understand why they didn’t make Alucard a main. As a character, they could come up with a good move-set, but there is a serious lack of re-skinnability for the character, so its kinda a dead end.

I’ve got mixed feelings about this. Castlevania 3 and SOTN were my jam, and they feel overlooked with Alucard not being a main character. I loved castlevania 2 though; it was endlessly frustrating, talking to every single villager, following inaccurate leads and vague clues until you lost the sheet of paper your

My pizza sauce runs like this: 2 cans of unsalted diced tomatoes (or 2 lbs of fresh tomatoes if you got a garden). 1/4 cup of olive oil, a head of garlic, and an onion. Simmer until falling apart. Run entire process through the food mill. Toss back in the pan, and reduce to the right consistency. Salt to taste.

I’ve only taken screenshots when I accidentally hit the button. I delete them whenever I’m between things and remember they exist.
