I agree. Achievements shouldn’t be progression based. Achievements should be acts outside of regular gameplay that a player must achieve. Sure, there is a place for progression, letting other players know how far you’ve made it through story mode of a game, but it shouldn’t be achievements, and they should always be

I’m in the midwest, eggs are $3.50 a dozen right now, sausage is usually $4.50 a pound. Green bell peppers are usually $1-1.25 and generic shredded cheese is $3-4 per 8oz. Tortillas are $3 for 10. Onions are usually a dollar a pound.

It covers the smell up with a much worse smell that you eventually become desensitized to. Boiling vinegar basically concentrates acetic acid in the pan. At high temperature and in sufficient concentration, it can actually dissolve metal.

I only played with the technical preview and they didn’t have audio drivers yet. Last I heard they got em running. I plan on taking the one I’ve got on my desk and turning it into a doorbell so people stop sneaking up on me in the office.

I’ve played around a bit with Windows IOT and I’ve found that it’s a pleasure to work with. Remote debugging a Windows IOT c# app is a cakewalk.

I bought a 40v Leaf Blower/Trimmer combo a while back. They have sufficient power for my needs, but sometimes lack the battery life to do all the blowing/trimming needed on my small lot (60x130). The models I have use a power control dial to increase battery life. I usually use it on a low setting.

I was in the Mormon Boy Scouts. I wasn’t a Mormon, but my neighbor was and he invited me to join. It was mostly like regular boy scouts, except we were forbidden from sharing a tent.

If renting is cheaper than buying, then the houses in your area are overpriced.

Back in my youth, I abused a number of OTC cold medications. Knowing how to read the labels on medicine is a valuable skill I learned as a byproduct. I just wish I would have learned it without the substance abuse.

I’ve always considered my “F*ck Off Price” as the price I ask for jobs I don’t want to do.

Right on. If I were to spend my days terminating patch cables, they’d cost the company a fortune. I’m pretty quick at it, but machines are much faster and I can buy a big ole box of em.

I’ve never felt the “draw the bitter out” is something that happens. I salt my eggplants to dry them out so that they don’t turn to mush.

I don’t really think that Goodwin’s Law needs changed.

My dad’s way of teaching me cars was to sell me an 87 ford taurus with a blown engine and an 88 mercury sable with a blown transmission...

I’ve got a kinda weird decompression... I’m a tech consultant and my main gig right now is the technical parts of managing a wireless ISP and babysitting a small datacenter.

I would almost never buy something at full price. If you see something you want, I can promise you that if you look/wait around, you’ll be able to find it for at least 30% off.

They aren’t the only guys, there are a few niche brands out there. FINEX makes an excellent piece of cast iron, but they are significantly more expensive

If your grill pan is letting the juices flow away, you aren’t hot enough. The juices are supposed to convert to steam almost instantly, improving the cooking by steaming your food in addition to the direct contact.

Grill pans heat you food a bit differently. You get the pan really hot and toss your food on. The raised “grill” directly heats your food and the liquid that runs off collects in the channels and converts to steam, heating your food in a gentler way. I would say that it’s purpose is when you want to be gentle with a

I haven’t figured out how to streamline my grocery experience. I’m a bit obsessive compulsive and need to walk through all the aisles. It’s a pain in the ass when I know I just need one thing and know exactly where it’s at.
