I expect that many folks who try this will end up with some pretty ugly looking plated silver dinner knives.

You are incorrect.
All operating systems have a “Blue Screen”. In linux, BSD, and OSX it’s called a “Kernel Panic”. It happens when hardware acts in a manner that the software is unable to deal with. It is usually caused by faulty hardware or poorly written device drivers.
My parents had two sets of kids, about 10 years apart. After my brothers and I moved out, our Aunt died and my parents adopted her two children as well, so it was a pretty full house. I had my computer set up in the utility room because there wasn’t any other space.
There were a few months when I were pretty close to homeless, but did have a place to stay. I bought a run-down trailer house for $500 and paid $125 in lot rental. I ate out of dumpsters and went to my parents house to use their internet connection to work from home because I didn’t have a car and my job was out of…
I’ve tried a number of these “Use an Egg Cutter” including chopping mushrooms, strawberries, etc and invariably, they damage my egg slicer.
My parents sold me my first car at age 16. It was a 1987 For d Taurus with a blown head gasket. I paid $200. Replaced the head gasket, drove it for a season, cracked the block, replaced the engine, drove it another season, blew the engine again, and sent it to a scrap yard.

There are a lot of triple ply pans that would be a better buy. You can buy a 12 piece cuisinart set for $250. If you’re looking for just a 12 inch skillet, then 60 bux will land you the cuisinart 12 inch model which is of quality construction.

So far, everything I’ve heard of this game is standard video game and seems to very loosely follow the source material.
The golden rule isn’t really about being nice to people, its about not being shitty to people.
I’ve got an old ICE-20 ice cream maker. It does an excellent job. It does require a bit of talent to make good ice cream.

Valve doesn’t have a Steam Backlog problem. Gamers have a Steam Backlog problem. Valve is selling games at a rate which exceeds players ability to play them. That sounds like the opposite of a problem for Valve.
I discussed the disconnect between “Indie” as a medium and “Indie” as a distribution model. I suppose a publisher who specialized in “Indie” (as a medium) games, could be considered an “Indie Publisher”, just the same way as a music publisher who only published a single genre of music would be considered a “Genre…
Devolver is a publisher, not a development studio. Technically speaking, anything they publish is not “indie” because the developer isn’t independent, they have a publisher backing them.
I was initially very excited for the new controller. I’m a PC gamer and I’ve been using 360 controllers for some time. I was just about ready to buy an xbone controller, then they announced the new controller, then they announced the wireless dongle, and now this. I was super excited with throwing my money at MS.…
I’m glad that it could end in a civil manner. I appreciated the discussion.
The lack of evidence is why I am refuting the claim. All you have to show for your argument is some cherry picked anecdotal evidence. I imagine if this was the epidemic that you are making it out to be, hundreds of indie devs would be coming out of the woodwork to share similar stories, yet all I hear are crickets.
How can you say “clearly” when you have a very limited dataset of anecdotal evidence that seems to be pretty cherry picked?
