This got me thinking if par-boiled french fries would produce superior oven fries as well...

Reading their "Why Early Access?" pitch, I am very tempted to involve myself. These guys are doing early access right. They've got a game that is basically done and just needs more content and they've got a timeline they're following with enough extra time to explore feedback from the community.

The scale is a useful tool. You just need to make a point to avoid variances. I weigh myself when I wake up after I've done my thing in the bathroom. If you are having problems with the numbers it's giving you, don't blame the scale, it was just doing it's job.

There is a huge difference between All-Clad's Triple Ply pans and these cheaply made chinese pans that Emeril shills.

The Emeril All-Clad pans are NOT triple ply pans. They have aluminum bases just like every single other cheap stainless steel pan. They are not All-Clad quality and are not worth buying. They look like All-Clad pans, but they are not. For a similar price you can get Cuisinart Multi-Clad pans which would serve you much

This boggles my mind that we'd be arguing to keep hoarding social accounts.

If you can do so, a whole house humidifier is a much better option than a room humidifier. We installed one in late fall and my wife hasn't complained about dry skin all winter.

My 3 year old son has one. It's a lady's size, but in a gentleman's color. It tells time. It cost 1/10th as much as my Seiko, which also tells time.

I don't really think that this is going to be very good. Law&Order typically revolves around a Victim and Culprit duality. I can see the story going from a faceless crowd of harassers and boiling down to one guy, prolly another developer, who is doing the whole thing.

If you use this strategy, it's important to remember that buying a gift card doesn't necessarily save you money. If you have an immediate desire to spend on the things the gift card covers then you can save something, but if you are buying gift cards because they have bonus gift cards attached, it may actually cost

I think I'm one of those guys that people keep around for an injection of negativity. I think it goes down something like this "This idea is awesome, you know who hates awesome things... Tristan. Let's tell him about it and get all bummed out"

Gotta dilute it until there aren't molecules left, just the memory of the molecule. That's where the real health benefits start kicking in.

The term "Bone Broth" bothers me, because it's not broth, it's stock! It bothers me even more because someone could say "Bone Broth" and then you'd have to ask what kinda animal was used in it's making... I've got ziplock bags full of the stuff in my freezer, and it's tasty stuff, but I label what kinda bones I used

I have been programming since I was 8. I learned Apple Basic in grade school, more basic and hypertalk in junior high, went to C in high school, moved to a small town where they taught pascal, then went to college and learned java. The school of practical applications has taught me many more languages. I've since

True. A few safe experiments on the proper thickness would be appropriate before putting your knives up though.

Games are not too long. Some games outstay their welcome and have more content left over and no fun left. The problem isn't the length of the game, the problem is the lack of fun.

My answer is "I'm not very good at answering stupid interview questions".

It's a difficult decision. There is a slippery slope argument to be made about allowing children more "allowed" absences. Truancy can be a problem, and providing additional excuses could cause more trouble.

I had the opportunity to move to to a bigger city a number of years ago and work with some talented programmers, and I passed on it because I was afraid that I'd discover that I was just average. That move may have meant that I would be much stronger than I am today, and that I could have overcome whatever average

I agree, it is more work than the standard Fry, Rest, Fry method, but the results are consistently better and allows for you to make-ahead many batches of fries.
