I have one student loan which shows up on my credit report as 3 separate loans. When I miss a payment, I get dinged for 3 separate missed payments. I don't really see how the "not a game" argument works... An interactive video novel on the computer and a video game can be judged on many of the same criteria. Graphics, Music, Story, etc. The only part that you can't judge an interactive novel on is "gameplay".

Lodge is a good brand, but I would hesitate to claim that the quality of the pans has allowed you to use them as you have without causing much grief. I am not exactly sure what the story is... A light scrubbing with soap and water on your cast iron isn't gonna kill it. You def should dry it well and oil it afterwards.
