I think it's even worse when publishers ask the players to actually PAY to help make the game.

Most security protocols don't allow for formatting disks when sensitive data was stored on them. They require physical destruction of the disk. The cost of a disk is significantly less than the cost of a security breach.

NEVER loan money to a friend unless you are willing to give it to them as a gift. Losing a friend over a debt is a silly thing.

There is a difference between cheap furniture and inexpensive furniture. I've had cheap bookshelves, and they have collapsed under the weight of the books on the shelves. I've also had inexpensive bookshelves which didn't look too great, but have lasted years without any major fuss.

Apple didn't disrupt the cell phone market, they just joined the cell phone market. That market still has the same major players building phones. Sure, all the phones are smarter than they were years ago, but the market wasn't disrupted. The tablet wasn't disruptive either. It is another sustaining innovation.

I worry that step #1 of your process is to install another crap app that duplicates existing windows functionality.

I've read that this isn't an intentional anti-piracy effort, just the result of a poor quality crack.

I've never used a basin wrench in my entire life, and I just completely renovated my bathroom (gutted down to the studs).

I recently bought a house, and I've been in the process of updating the electrical. I've installed EVERY outlet "upside down", because outlets work better that way.

If I'm gonna absorb material, I need a hard copy. It's how my head works. But, reading for pleasure, digital works great.

There is no explicit structured hierarchy. All of the hierarchy exists as an unspoken social contract between peers. I imagine for introverts with little social skills, it could be a minefield of faux pas.

The only thing that bothers me about this is the mention of her "female designer", like that makes it not sexist.

If I recall correctly, the 3rd and 4th ed books were also released a month apart. This isn't because it's easier for gamers to swallow the cost of a book a month, it is because staggered releases allows for more effort to be put into books which require more time to polish.

The hardest part about launching WOW2 would be it's biggest competitor, WOW. There would likely be tons of die-hards who feel like the years spent invested into the game are too much to abandon and would continue playing the old game.

Many of these tools will send your cordless drill to an early grave. Cordless drills aren't really designed for a duty cycle where they are on for a significant duration.

It's likely just as hard as offline mode in Sim City was...

I hate being that guy (what am I saying, I love it), but this isn't a hamburger... this is a meatloaf sandwich.

I feel like a 7oz burget is a bit large. I make 4oz burgers. This works good for me. Children don't waste so much food (If I'm grilling and I expect a lot of small children, I'll opt for 2oz sliders), dieters get more control over their portion, and big eaters aren't eating so damn much beef when they think they need…
