Here's my protip for the day. To retire earlier, live like you are poverty stricken, saving every penny that you absolutely don't need to spend right now. Try to limit yourself to spending $400-600 a month (yes, I know this can be tough, but if you live out of your car you should be able to do it), regardless of how

The majority of generics offered at my local grocery stores are extremely similar to the named brand ones, except for the cocoa puffs, those are totally different.

If this game ever gets released, I'd totally buy it.

It shouldn't. I would actually think that kosher salt would be a poor choice, as it would not dissolve as readily as granular salt.

I like to change my own oil. I used to visit my parents every few thousand miles because they had the tools and driveway to do so. Since buying a house, I have my own garage and driveway and I needed to pick up a jack and jackstands. I had most of the other tools. Figuring the cost of tools and the cost of materials,

I amass business cards, input them into my contact manager, then throw them away. That is how I unclutter my life. Many contact managers have a field for additional notes. If you have a full productivity suite, your calendar application may be able to reference your contacts. Calendars are good for more than just

I always take anecdotal evidence that way.

My wife got a gym membership after giving birth. She went for about 2 months, then stopped going. Because she signed a year contract, we were stuck with it for a whole year. Instead of trying to negotiate not paying for the first month, try telling them that contracts are bullshit and you'd love to go month to month.

If your goal is to stress the disk sufficiently enough to shake any hardware defects out of it, then the idea has a little merit. A regular format would likely be enough to shake these defects out (not a quick format), and it is unlikely to find manufacturing defects (those are most often detected at the

Sadly, most things you can achieve with this product aren't worth the expense involved in purchasing it.

This is interesting enough, yesterday it actually looked competitive, but today looks exactly the same as prior days with the non-leaders grouped within a few percent and the leader sitting at nearly 2x the points.

I'm confused... why should a down payment even factor in to the price of buying a car. A down payment matters to the bank that is loaning you money for the vehicle. Whether you put 10% or 50% down, the auto dealer is getting the same amount of money when your check clears.

There is also a large concentration of highly compensated positions in the regions you mentioned. The high cost of living is offset by the high compensation, giving you a more average earning potential.

I typically avoid the "Healthy" section because the food is usually not that good... but that might just the places I eat at.

It's impossible to know if the drive had a problem writing if you don't try reading what it wrote.

I imagine the sort of person who does this sort of thing isn't gonna let a drained gift card derail their triple iced caramel macchiato with extra whipped topping fix.

So, if a site gets blocked enough, will FB start filtering all of their posts to the spam bucket?

I think you are confused. My assertion was that a secure erase does in no way test a drives ability to read data, only to write data. If the drive is new, then there isn't any reason to hope for any added security by overwriting existing data, unless you are concerned about the security implications of the pre-loaded

A secure erase doesn't verify that you can read data...

Yes, I've participated in the process a few times. One 3rd party I worked with had a self-evaluation. All you had to do was say yes to all of the questions and they would mail a sticker to put on your door saying you were PCI compliant.
