Read up on why rollback netcode is so important for fighting games in general.

Then you haven’t read into understanding any of what they’re talking about. Play on emulators via PC is natively more responsive than is possible with a GameCube on CRT play, so given proper network code and a good connection this is quite simple. Every single Melee pro has heartily endorsed this.

If a game’s just plain great to play, it never really dies.

It’s still the best of the series from a gameplay perspective. The latest game is fun for the huge number of characters and options, but none of them live up to the feel of playing Melee.

And it’s Try Month again, so they might be landing corkers for the next 4 weeks.

Love love love Hollywood Handbook, so glad they’re getting a well-deserved shout out

This is the show where the ad reads are so good, so consistently, that the premium service that removes advertisements from Earwolf shows had to add a separate feed for “The Ads Version” due to listener demand.

I’ve said it before (before) and I’ll say it again (again)

I mean there is a significant incentive in real life for a self-interested person to maintain the status quo when said status quo benefits them. Obviously I haven’t played the game yet, but what you’ve described doesn’t seem to preclude the ability to take an extreme stance. I’m hoping for a scenario where you can

People care about a lot of teams that never win much, there’s nothing wrong with that. What’s insane about UT fans is that literally they start every season thinking they’re destined to win the national championship that year. Sports radio here in August is a parade of lunatics predicting 10, 11, 12 win seasons.

What should be used instead?

At long last, math, is revealed to be the true scourge of humanity I knew it to be.

As people pointed out, Nintendo doesn’t want people listening to their music for free on youtube, but then don’t release their tracks outside of Japan. Anyone outside of Japan has to hope Nintendo releases one of those mini soundtracks that usually come bundled with games.
