This is Paramount/Viacom’s MO. Not exactly surprising, really.

Let me guess, she’s going to claim this isn’t a comic book because comic books are “all that Superman and Archie and Jughead nonsense.”
She plays Jeff. Jeff from Accounting.
He also had some ancillary stuff going on.
No he’s not. All of those things are accurate.
You are spot-on in every critique.
It so isn’t. It’s a terrible film on every level, except for Mark Hammill’s acting. Everything that’s wrong with the prequels has its roots in ESB.
I agree. But if you just take the plot and throw away everything else, it’ll be okay.
I don’t know why it’s surprising Spike is doing this. Someone at that channel is a hardcore sci-fi fan, because they ran constant Star Trek marathons for years, as well as a number of SF movies. Sure, most of them were actiony, like Terminator and Predator, but they’re still SF.
Are you naturally this stupid or do you have to work at it?
Who do you think works at the NSA and CIA? My high school buddy does, my ex father-in-law did. Ordinary people.
100 years ago New York City had to remove 9 million tons of horse manure from the streets every *day*. That’s a lot of horses. How many do you see when you go to the Big Apple today?
Where are you guys getting this paranoid nonsense?
Only a manually-operated car.
Not in big cities they won’t. And probably not in many states, like Florida, one of the first four states to allow autos, because of all their senior citizens. Which is a good thing. People suck at driving. *Especially* old people.
Wow, that’s quite a paranoid leap. From self-driving cars to completely restricted travel.
I’ve been saying for a few years now that within 20 years no one will drive their own cars. We’ll look back at this era and wonder how we ever managed without autos.
That’s true, but it’s very much that type of book: one nerdy fanboy to another. There’s also the fact that if you do the math on everything the main characters consume as they study 80’s trivia, there aren’t physically enough hours in the day to memorize all of that stuff in the amount of time they had. I don’t hold…
Re: the header image.
I had a lot of issues with that shit. Temple of Doom is a terrible, terrible movie, on every level.
