No it’s a great RPG game. It’s amazing to explore Egypt but when people say it’s not an AC game it’s because it’s an RPG.

I think the opposite of this is true.

Isn’t that because Odyssey is kind of a non-canon “What if?” game?

They’re only “removing” loading screens for in-game content. Going from interiors to exteriors or one location to another. Probably fast-travel too.

AC3 is awesome.
I’m replaying the remaster now. The only real drag in that game is how it doesn’t stop feeling like a tutorial until your about 60% of the way through it.

It’s almost like they built the Connor tutorials and game first, then someone introduced the plot-twist idea with starting as Nathan so they did the

He kinda had to be that way didn’t he? To explain why his son turned out the way he did?

This, this and this.
I love Origins as an excuse to explore Egypt but hated exactly the moment you described and personally I had a bad experience when I was given a mission that i was “too low level for” so i actually had to go away and grind something else. I totally bailed on Odyssey knowing that it would be more

I don’t think the argument here is for “More busy” but for “more character”.

What do you mean by “make it work”.

There is no “Viking” culture, “Viking” is basically another, timely word, for Pirate. We already had a game about Pirates so we already know how these subjects will be handled.

Unity and Origins are the last ones to do it for me.
(I Skipped Odyssey.)

Origins did a good job of virtual tourism, they even did a free update for an educational tour. Unity is also a beautiful representation of Paris.

Syndicate though, it felt like London but not the London I know.

IMO Assassins Creed shouldn’t be a true RPG.

De-Syncing is a core component of the series imo.
If you can stray too far away from the memories you’re simulating then it breaks too much stuff. I skipped Odyssey as i’ve not liked the “forward” steps the series has been taking with leveling and experience making it feel more like an MMORPG grind-simulator.

This quote has been re-purposed a million times for various things, surely if you want to click-bait this you need to do a “Top 20" of them or something?

She forgave her for being rude... that is totally forgivable.

Out of interest, what did you want? Or what were you expecting?
From Ubisoft the only thing noticeably missing was Beyond Good and Evil 2?

Don’t disagree wit the sentiment here, if the accent is off the accent is off.

Really dug the details in the show and am excited for the game but then i saw a gameplay trailer where they’re chipping numbers off of health bars and i’m starting to lose interest again.

I always struggled with “Evil Orcs” in any context BUT the Middle Earth one or the Warhammer one, where they’re essentially genderless and grown out of the ground, almost selectively.
