I don't think that's going to do it... the system is, realistically, cheap enough to move units. And they did market it. But that's part of the problem... they marketed the Wii— quite effectively— and brought in a whole new audience that promptly discarded the system. It had an appallingly low attach rate compared to

Nah, it's pretty much bombing in 2013. It did okay in the holiday season, but it's been pretty atrocious so far this year (something like 390,000 worldwide in the first three months of 2013). Of course, nothing has been released for the system in months, and they're only launching the VC now, and they've got a lot of

I love the N4 to death, but I do have to admit that the omission of a properly functioning LTE radio is a bit of a bummer, even with decent HSPA+ service... and the S4 Pro is still a worthy chipset, but it's well behind the 600 in the current flagships.

You forgot to mention what car you just paid for IN CASH. Don't you ever pay attention to the little things?

That's pretty rad. We've got a few people on tall bikes here, but nothing like this. I do wish he'd have ridden with a helmet, though... people are going to see this, and it would be good if he was reinforcing the idea that biking in the city is dangerous, and every precaution should be taken.

This guy just likes bikes. Hipsters don't use tall bikes, and they don't use fixies anymore. They ride TRACK BIKES now.

So, let me understand this... you acknowledge that it has bloatware (and yes, the keyboard is modded, just look at the keyboard settings menu and compare it to the AOSP offering if you have a Nexus handy... and the shade is modded, as well, maybe you don't spend enough time playing with stock Android). And you then

Except, they're mods, but they aren't all the mods, or even necessarily the best mods for those explicit purposes. But the end-user of CM wouldn't know, because he didn't research and choose them for himself. They were just pieces of pre-installed software... which some people will love, some people will hate, and

Off the top of my head? Trebuchet, the modded notification shade, the CM modded keyboard, DSP manager, CM wallpapers... hell, look at all the pre-included apps in the drawer compared to AOSP. And that's without bothering to look up the release page. Every single one of these things were developed independently of

I didn't really defend it... I just said it's not abnormally bad. They've included low-light photos in other reviews on other sites and the S4 looks to be pretty solidly middle-of-the-road, well behind the One and the 920 but in roughly the same boat as the iPhone 5, Nexus 4, and Xperia Z. Phones are usually really

To be fair, the anecdotal evidence actually holds weight here— just like with the iPhone. There are just so many people who've bought the second and third, Samsung-bloatware-loaded iterations of the Galaxy S devices that it approaches being truly meaningful when nearly no-one you know actually uses Samsung's

To be fair, in your usage case the S4 very nearly fits the bill. It's not like the camera is bad, and it's not like its low-light photography is uncommonly poor. It's just about average at doing something phone camera sensors are typically bad at. And really, the One's sensor isn't perfect... all the detailed reviews

UGH. Cyanogen is not better than AOSP. It's just AOSP, with a bunch of kitchen-sink mods preinstalled. It's like if you bought a Dell, and it came with a bunch of bloatware that you didn't choose, and you said it was like Windows, but better. Considering the vast majority of the mods that characterise Cyanogen were

Honestly, if you live in a place where you can enjoy a good HSPA+ carrier, I'd go N4. While the One is startlingly beautiful, the N4 is definitely quite pretty on its own— and when you consider the N4's natural good looks AND the oh-how-much-prettier-than-Sense-5 nature of stock 4.2.2, it's kind of a no-brainer.

This song is the first thing that actually makes me really sad that Michael Jackson is dead. The Pharell vocal is nice, but even the pitch-shifted version is an improvement (although the little added stuff is distracting)... it just makes me long to hear how awesome the song would be if Jackson actually sang it.

You should pull the trigger on the illuminated one! The three-stage backlighting is insanely nice. And the keys are silent yet have a good amount of travel. I fell in love with it hard— if it wasn't for needing a wireless option with the PC in home theater mode, I'd be using it still as my daily driver. It's a beauty.

The Arc is super comfortable... it's just a shame it's incredibly glossy. I had one for a few days, but returned it because OMG fingerprints.

Is that the laser-etched illuminated Logitech? I love that thing, but mine's in the closet... used to use it with my Bamboo, but shelved both when I rebuilt my desktop as an HTPC. Now I use the wireless Logitech KB400 with the built-in trackpad. Just can't justify actually using my PC much anymore. Nexus/Nexus for me.

It's been two weeks since this article, but Republic Commando wants to remind you it was released eight years ago, and developed internally by LucasArts. And also: that it kicks ass.

Agreed. I thought Superman Returns was interesting, thoughtful, and stylish. I really liked Routh, too... shame that more people didn't like it, I guess. I'm actually not really excited to see ANOTHER Superman reboot, but I'm sure I'll check it out anyhow.
