@superhuffy: Presumably they were aware of the glitches, were working on repairing them, and planned to deliver a patch soon after release. At least that's how everyone else does it. I can't remember the last thing I played this generation that didn't have at least one large bug present at launch.

@D.A.S.: Indeed. I think they're both nice phones, but I wouldn't say either of them are among the two fastest devices on Verizon.

@dtptampa: You'd rather have the Merge than the G2? Why? The G2 has an HSPA+ radio that's been, when reviewed, pulling down on average 4.5Mb/s down in HSPA+ areas. The Merge wouldn't get those speeds anywhere in the country unless it was on wifi. And the G2 is running Android without Sense. And there's no Bing.

@D.A.S.: What are the two fastest phones on the network? The Snapdragon in the Incredible is bested by the Hummingbird in the Fascinate, but the Incredible has JIT in its corner and the Fascinate is stuck on 2.1... and neither the X or the D2 have Bing preinstalled... so which are you referring to?

@Rasenganfan2: He means to buy, not to rent. When you buy, or choose Keep It, you're shipped the manual and box... which have never left the warehouse before, so they're perfect. Even include all DLC and Live trial inserts, where applicable.

@B-Real206: If you're a GameFly member, the Keep It price on White Knight has been under twenty for the past six months. With the cheap introductory price on GameFly right now, you should join if you don't already subscribe. Cheers!

I'm interested in this, but I've always preferred the Rock Band charting to the Guitar Hero model. I'll probably rent it... although it's difficult to turn down anything that involves playing metal as a man-pig beast.

I'm disappointed.

@fznmomin: The G2 has a 21Mbs HSPA+ radio in it, the first device to do so. In areas with HSPA+ support and adequate backhaul, the G2 will pull down speeds twice what WiMax offers. It's a no-brainer. Wait for the G2.

@gover57: The Vibrant, Fascinate, and Epic are all versions of the Galaxy S. It's a line of devices.

@GGear0323: I'm not going to dispute at all that the PSP is in the middle of a really great run of RPGs. And I'm glad for us that we're finally seeing them pour in. Cheers!

The last LIVE I really loved was '96. Of course, it was fighting with my years-long love affair with Coach K's College Basketball on the Genesis (go St. John's!)... but I did appreciate LIVE nonetheless. These days I can't imagine EA could do much to pull me from the 2K series.

AWESOME.

@coldcaption: Same reason I wouldn't buy an iMac. It's a cool machine, but you're tossing out that nice monitor every time you want a new computer.

I disagree. All the major television manufacturers (save maybe LG) also make sound solutions (even Vizio). Why would they want to cannibalise their profitable audio lines by competing with— or worse yet, licensing— an incredibly expensive, proprietary Bose process that they're years behind?

@cowboyhugbees: The PSP has a good library. But the problem is, good new titles are rarely being added to it. It's been this way for years, really... to call it a trickle of quality titles is to be extraordinarily kind. But there are many quality things to buy the PSP for. They're just (by and large) already available.

@Archaotic: I've got to respectfully disagree. I love Shimmerman, but I'm a bigger fan of Claptrap.

@kicking222: Agreed. I'm looking forward to this expansion— played Ned, played Knoxx, skipped Moxxi— but I'm going to wait for the level cap. I'm not real keen on beating the expansion and then grinding Crawmerax to 69.

@Troubadour: My games will be different, but I'll be doing the hot cocoa thing as well. Nothing makes a cold day nicer.

It's definitely a bit skint this autumn... I'm not much fussed for it, though: my backlog's a mile deep if it's a foot. There are just too many cheap deals going around anymore. I just grabbed Alpha Protocol for $14, and that game sucks— but at $14, bad can still be acceptable. I'll probably get around to actually
