Mario has been around since the cabinet arcade, Metroid and Zelda since the NES. All 3 (Mario, Zelda and Metroid) have been on every single Nintendo console to date (save for the VirtualBoy). I'd call that countless number of games.

The dreamcast has a lot of failure to it from the start, which is unfortunate because it is a great system. Nintendo has been around for a very long time. Outlasted other companies (Sega, Panasonic, Atari). I don't see them ending any time soon.

Sounds like you get the most enjoyment from the same old style of FPS in a different package (yes, I know there are countless Mario, Zelda and Metroid games out there) where all it is, is just killing shit and blowing stuff up.
