It actually does run those games! The hardware emulation is minimal as (IIRC) it just hooks calls to interrupts commonly used for sound, video, etc and emulates them that way. But I might be wrong, it's been a while since I've used DOSBox. But ya, it does actually run the games, and Windows 3.1.
