As a fellow kool-aid drinker, what always bothered me most was their habit of referring to their car in the present tense, despite its current non-existence. They seem to have backed off on that lately.

I think I remember a 60 Minutes piece on the decline of passenger rail service in the U.S. from some time in the seventies. The train they used as an example was the James Whitcomb Riley. It had vending machines.
