Hardly anything you can’t get out the back of a truck in Nova Scotia.

Either that, or he had a crush on a latino guy named Jesus.
Probably (I presume) because you were alive and driving, but not in Canada, where Astras were sold.
Remove four easily accessible screws, and out come the seats.
When retro cars became a thing, I thought Chrysler’s move was going to be to build a retro Airflow on a minivan chassis. Instead we got the PT Cruiser.
The Pontiac Tempest, which shared the chassis and basic body with the F85, used the transaxle from the Corvair. The Oldsmobile had a solid axle in back. Woulda been cool to get them both in one car tho.
Why won’t Fiat just sell me a goddam PANDA already?
I like the Nuvinci hub.
To be clear, I agree about the damper/balance issue causing the wheel hop. However, I think the car might ALSO (as well) have a broken front left spring, due to the general sagging at that end of the car, and the relative lift at the right rear. I don’t see how an out of balance wheel or blown shock could be causing…
I’m thinking maybe a broken left-front spring as well.
I always wanted to see someone put a Corvair engine in the front of a ‘62 Tempest. Or maybe a Porsche flat six into the front of a Panamera.
Well, those solutions are definitely imaginative.
I see a fair number of cars of all sizes with Thule boxes on top. Any Ikea or Home Depot parking lot will have lots of folks using their roof racks. I would never consider a vehicle that couldn’t use one. This is not to say that every car needs to be capable of carrying one. People who know they would never need to…
Maybe I lack imagination, but I can’t see how you could carry a load on the roof and still have clearance to open the back doors. Do you have any links/images? I’m genuinely curious.
I suspect they’re thinking that they don’t want owners to do anything that would mess up the aerodynamics.
Still gull wings (check the video still at the top of the article). Still no way to mount a roof rack or carry a canoe on THIS “utility” vehicle.
Some racists can be meticulously polite. Still evil though.
Look at all those red-backed ewes. Hammond’s been busy.
Fallbrook Technologies’ Nuvinci bicycle hub. (the black one in the pic- the silver one is the hub motor). My bike has one. It’s transformative.
This describes my situation pretty much.
