I think it’s intentionally meant to leave you with mixed feelings, because it tears the whole thing apart while still making everything work. It demystifies things but it makes the characters far more interesting because instead of being about good and evil the characters are now defined by the choices they make not…

They should’ve made the rest of the face match the style. And probably shouldn’t have given her realistic skin. Making her seem more like a doll wouldn’t worked out better.

I think it’s a good idea to comparmentalize. It’s hard to find someone who can be be a good co-parent and a good romantic partner. You can’t put all your eggs in the same basket and I dunno the more we admit that to ourselves maybe their will be less pressure.
