perhaps, but it’s also decreasing the number of avenues one can use to create content.

Okay, but gained revenue streams from that kind of consolidation gives them more power and capital to utilize towards potentially monopolizing the things you *do* care about.

precisely.

i could really go for a slimmed-down, Neal Adams look at this point.

i can see that BvS rock you’re hiding behind your back & waiting to throw. Lol.

it was such a boneheaded move to try and lean into the Game of Thrones aesthetic for Thor when the source material is one of the most colorful and out there in the Marvel Comics lineup. One of the rare times the MCU did the exact opposite of honoring the publishing arm.

Unless explicitly proven otherwise, I’ll never not believe Nick Spencer didn’t throw an audible on the last 3rd of that story. Especially since the Vanishing Point stuff had a whole other artist doing the artwork.

i already felt gross that my incessant love for Marvel and their output meant i was handing considerable money over in support of a mega-conglomerate, but this puts it right in my face. le sigh.

i have to believe at some point Disney is going to want to offer Netflix a sum to envelop those Marvel shows into its own fold. “...Erik Oleson (executive producer on Man in the High Castle and Arrow) will be replacing Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez as showrunner.”

i love Thor, but his escapades and the environments he travels through have always been more of a draw than the character himself.

Yikes. Not only would I feel like a piece of shit for spoiling it, but getting flexed on by such an affable and pretty guy like Hemsworth would crumple me, Lol.

i hope Shuri bests Tony in the lab during one of the next 2 Avengers films. i cannot wait.

OG Cyclops is still dead, yeah? so is this new team going to be paired with the old one for Marvel Legacy?

i got my Youtube Red, Netflix, and Amazon video. Only way i’m signing up for another streaming service is if Disney shortens the window between new releases and their availability to stream.

Germain is an enchanter, Lol.
