I like this theory but then you’d have to question why Deckard would want to implant that memory at all if his intention was to NOT provide a trail back to Ana’s existence.

true. i have plenty of time to set aside 5 bucks a week or so to get it at the end of next year.
It must have been Ana who did it, as it was her memory.
Dammit! this is great news but i already have the box set in SD. just can’t justify buying it twice.
ohh shit. i enjoyed Gosling but i’d have loved to see Swinton in that awesome jacket.
I get the sketch, conceptually. The “why” of it all still puzzles me.
Marvel TV needs a shakeup. I like Loeb, but he seems more content getting shows ordered than maintaining a standard of quality. Perhaps someone else is dictating that, but who knows.
You’re, word for word, exactly where I am.
And Widow has an entire superhero-filled world and 10 year old MCU to play off of. Lots of interesting directions to go without retreading what we’ve seen in AoU & other female-spy films. Though I generally agree with Evan’s thesis of ”SEE?!”. Lol
the futility of that STOP sign just twirling in the wind really says something to me about life in general. wow.
I won’t purport to know his intentions, but I do agree: he plays the game.
i raise you...
I agree. He’s a master at 4-quadrant filmaking but his films always feel like a deliberate reach for that instead of the lightining-in-a-bottle blockbusters of yesteryear.
I think he’s rated appropriately among audiences. Good enough to spend your coins on, but I never see him in any all-time great conversations.
For my money, this show could have simply been KARNAK - a globe-trotting series about the royal hand’s search for the new bevy of Inhumans on Earth, who happens to see the flaw in all things. Those “things” being humanity, so you could get all philosophical about it ...’cause TV.
to add on to that, another thing that is keeping me from embracing Mount is that, from what i’ve seen, his resting face for Black Bolt seems to err on the side of pensive when i’ve always read BB as somber.
I’m just so confused by the coverage of this story here on io9.
This comment is hella interesting. Wow.
The American psyche is a weird place, what can I say?
Right.
