But it got attention, and clicks, and eyeballs. That’s what they want, especially given that their audience compared to ESPN’s is tiny.

How is it anti-Sox to state facts? Ortiz is the team’s best known player and he’s not known for being a guy who puts a lot of effort into running the bases. Nor should he be. If I were the Sox, I’d be pissed if he ran a routine grounder out at maximum effort, pulled something and then was unavailable to do what he’s…
Yeah, we never see any players ever jog out routine balls. Nope, never happens. Rookies never do it. Vets at the end of their careers never do it. Guys in their prime never do it. All stars and future hall of famers don’t. Bench players don’t. Nope, never happens.
If you think about it, it might actually REDUCE water use. A urinal uses a lot less water than a regular toilet, and most people do not want to take a dump at the stadium unless they are about to crap their pants.
The other thing to remember is that all of the teams who are talked about in the “moving to LA” conversation were there at one point and left.
Needs Benny Hill.
There’s always what I try to do.
This case will not be prosecuted. There’s so much strange stuff going on that any decent lawyer will have no problem persuading one jury member that there is reasonable doubt.
Street cred? With the chain wallet that hasn’t been cool since, oh, I don’t know, Alannis Morrisette was playing all the time?
You’re entitled to believe anything you want, but that’s not how the legal system works. If this case goes to trial, the DA must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Kane raped her.
Yup, and they shaft you by requiring you to work and not paying you on time. It’s ridiculous.
The only thing you’re the boss of is the tub of vaseline that you smear on that pathetic little thing you call a penis when you want to rub one out. If you can.
You are aware that no federal funds can be used for abortions, correct?
The government workers I’ve dealt with probably work harder than you do, given that you went to that lame ass response right away. If that’s indicative of how hard you work, then, yeah, they definitely work harder than you.
They’ve always gotten full pay in the past. And that was with assholes like Gingrich and Boehner in charge of the House.
Absolutely, and there’s no question that a shutdown is stupid.
Well, keep in mind it’s not all of the people in Congress. Hell, it’s not even most of them. You’ve got the republican leadership, who realizes how bad it made them look the last few times — and they caved anyway — wanting to not have it happen.
Well, the government employees will get paid, too. They don’t work on those days — in fact, they are told that they will be disciplined if they do — and then when they come back to work they get paid for the days they were not allowed to work.
Dude in the blue shirt doesn’t even wave.
Funny how the people who talk about reducing government waste are the ones who are about to piss away a whole lot of money paying government employees for the days that they did not work.
