So, noodle burner?

So, unlike politicians, this ad wasn't pro-party of the week, it was pro-America? Never heard of it...

I hear you there. Harley Davidsons are mostly foreign parts, with some key components being made and assembled in America, but to most people they scream 'Merican, YEA!!! My cafe'd GL1100 was made in America, too, but it says HONDA in big letters, so I'm instantly a crotch ricer boy or whatever. I don't personally

His speechifying specifically said that we bitch and moan and argue about everything, but at the end of the day we cut the crap and get shit done. That seems in line with disagreeing with the bailout but once it's done, you get to working fixing shit and drop the whining.

But Jeeps DO use Mercedes signs and stereos ARE imported from Asia. If my old Ninja, which said right on the VIN plate "Made in Japan", had been advertised as "built in Milwaukee" or "Imported from Chicago" I would have taken issue with it. I am not down on a global market, I'm down on the misrepresentation.

What's your point? The ad was all "...'Merica, FUCK YEAH!!" but the car was all "Canada, eh!" So it was ACTUALLY imported from Canada...

Ideally your wife IS your dream girl.

She was getting about 48 MPG.

Wouldn't "lead-footed" have worked better here?

I have been in a Camaro. I wanted to buy one when they came out, but when I went to see them at the dealer I decided they were too bloated, too cartoony, and too chintzy.

It's ugly and ill-proportioned. Also, the male genetalia it was modeled after was most unfortunate its length-to-teste ratio.

I haven't been around the new focus so I really don't know. I am going to the Chicago auto show next week and I will make sure I look at Ford's offerings. Ford has really been kicking ass lately.

Meh, my sister and her husband are leasing a Cruze until the diesel Wrangler arrives, and it is a pretty good car. The interior is 27 orders of magnitude better than my little brother's Cavalier. The overall feel and quality is right up with any VW's I see on a daily basis. They are getting thir shit together. I

Agreed. I bought a ZX-6 brand new (never buy new, young mistake) for $7500 a few years ago that would walk just about any production car in existance. My current cafe'd 1982 GL1100 will do low 12's and I paid $1,200 for it.

In fairness, it's a Camaro... so you wouldn't have had any visibilty from anywhere in the cabin.

OOOOOOHHHH, SOMEONE WITH SIMILAR MUSICAL TASTES TO ME!!!!

I'd honey her badger...

Sooo... this is a syncronized bobble-head event?

This was a kit car, so the quality of the builder is the biggest factor. I noticed the trunk flew open when he got loose. I'm guessing this wasn't a top quality kit car build.

...won't get fooled again.
