Sooo.... #9 is great because in your crash, the passenger compartment was compromised?

The downside of a car that is built that strong is pretty tragic, actually.

You know what? I don't mind donks.

I'm much the same. Coffee itself doesn't do a whole lot to me (mostly just a continual lull of a little energy). If I drink a whole pot I get wired - same with if I have 4 or more shots of espresso. I get energy from stuff like Red Bull - great buzz with no shakes for me.

That's not a car with 945hp. It's a naturally aspirated engine, and I believe stock (the ed. seems to have it wrong here - the video here was from the Best Motoring Video Special Vol. 55. I could be wrong too, but that NSX isn't packing that much).

All non-gearheads need to know is that they should belong to AAA and carry a charged cell phone at all times.

Same over here in NY, just over the border. Paid $4.17 the other day.

I did a fair amount of research on this, and can't find ANY regulations regarding plastic vs. glass lenses. Some modern cars still have glass, but not many. From what I can tell, it's mostly a cost issue (modern headlamp shapes are possible in glass, but aren't usually cost effective).

Pretty sure it was...

Unless we're witnessing the overflow.

Why does Carhenge, a bland and straight interpretation of a monument, qualify as art while spacial composition and expression does not?

If anyone is in the Hudson Valley region in New York, I believe his work is still up in Dia: Beacon.

I'm still not seeing any evidence that it's because of regulation changes. Somebody on the internet has a 99 Miata and a 02 Miata - the 99 has plastic headlamps while the 02 has glass.

I couldn't find any information regarding safety requirements of headlamp cover material. It appears it's simply a cost reducing measure, because even modern designs could be done up in beautiful and durable glass.

WOW. That rear end looks great, and I love the roof. Glad to see the Viper back!

I'm sort of surprised my mention of plastic headlamp lenses wasn't picked. It's a design flaw on nearly EVERY car sold today.

The current Altima actually looks pretty handsome. The sedan is almost perfectly proportioned with a very nice rear end, and the coupe is svelte with decent proportions (don't like the front end though).

Plastic headlamp lenses.

It has VERY little to do with attention span, and everything to do with balancing context with the emotional state of the work. Shorter shots mean higher action and tension, but too short and you won't be able to tell what's going on in the car chase. Longer shots convey a sense of time and spatial context as well

I'm saddened by contemporary video editors.
