To be honest with you, I'm not sure why most people do it. I live north of the city, worked there, stay there a lot, and LOVE it. It really is a great city, but living there has never been high on my list of priorities.

I've never heard of RWB, but I very badly desire one now.

Rochester, NY has many such exchanges as well. Granted, you only have to cross 2-3 lanes rather than 4, but it's still completely and utterly shitty.

I saw the exact same color Cube the other week while I was shooting a wedding. Took a moment to grab this:

Those cars are huge! How can one drive them when they take up both lanes?

Yes, but the recreation of the truck should have SOME give to it. In real life, a stopped truck wouldn't act like an immobile object is all I'm saying - it would absorb at least some of the energy through forward movement.

If everybody parked in front of huge concrete and steel impact barriers all the time, this would be an adequate test. In reality, there would be a whole lot more forward motion as a result of this kind of impact.

Speed traps are not set up for certain kinds of cars - you probably just weren't going fast enough to make it worth their while. Radar will easily catch a motorcycle, and your Mini is actually quite large. Now if a patrol car caught you weaving between cars at high speeds (like I think you're alluding to), you would

You're showing your American. This isn't a stoplight racer, and you don't buy a car like this to impress the masses. You'll get anywhere from a knowing nod to a great conversation with anybody who knows two cents about cars, and it'll be a wild ride on any good road.

Ignoring the COTD, Mohegan Lake is NOT Upstate New York. It is in the southern tip of NY.

Sometimes that's true. If you're traveling between two big, close cities though it's more worth it to fly. I live in Rochester, and going to NYC by car is ~6 hours. By plane it's 1 hour, and the same cost as gas and tolls. The wait for that commute is minimal, so you're looking at up to two hours - big savings.

For my girlfriend to drive, the prices ranged from $20-40 extra a day. In Washington, car rentals are subject to luxury taxes, and for some reason include taxes for sports stadiums and whatnot (NO idea why). I priced everything out through those comparison websites (i.e. priceline). I believe the best price we got

I'm currently planning a cross country trip with my girlfriend. I'm 25, she's 24. Our original plan involved flying out to Seattle, renting a car for two weeks to drive down the coast and back up, and fly back. The car rental would have been damn near $1500. For two weeks.

What's a 'retro' muscle car in your opinion? Nearly all of the muscle cars with any heritage make references to their heyday models. The Mustang looks brilliant, the Camaro looks wonderfully out of proportion, and some of the Chargers I've seen are actually quite good. Corvette isn't my favorite, but it's still a

To be perfectly, brutally honest with you, I must confess. The new Altimas (I believe '09-'11) are REALLY good looking. I hate what they've done with the nose, but 95% of the time you look at a car, you look at the rear end. The Altima has a really nice, well proportioned ass. The first one I saw with the

"Volks-boat"? IT'S THE DAMPERVAN!

To each his own - I personally LOVE Rutlege and think he's a decently fun guy and while Tanner isn't funny but thinks he is, he at least knows how to drive. I wish Adam was the Jason of the 1st UK series, and got booted for the second.

Amen to that!

LinkedIn, Facebook profiles baleeted. This video is the second result that shows up when you Google her name.

Nice Price, all day long. She's a beaut!
