Hey, don't get down on Jan Hammer! That guy's THE MAN.

This awful car, a gigantic brown lake and an empty, jobless downtown are Rochester's only attractions. Stop by Ithaca or Buffalo if you're ever headed this way. Buffalo has the falls, obviously, and Ithaca is absolutely beautiful with a very fun downtown area.

Yup. Took it the same day I made the comment - in fact, that's my beigey Focus in the back corner of the photo. If you go to Rochester, NY you too can see this car.

I'm sorry? The man had a need to cart a family, wood and bikes around on a budget, sure. That doesn't mean he was disinterested in driving though.

Years ago, my father bought his last minivan, which was also his first and only new car. He went into the dealership, looked at the different models, and decided on a 2000 Dodge Caravan.

I think the real issue is that AT has become a crutch for people who don't need it.

Every time I see a driver inching forward through the intersection at a red light, I'm almost positive it's a jagoff in an auto lazily relieving pressure from the brake pedal.

There are benefits to that though. My left leg is massively toned thanks to the traffic north of NYC.

Some Cruiser owners have delusions of grandeur.

Also, I could use a proofreader. ("Nothing more than... nothing more than")

I click through to read more, and find out that this (like many other stories latey) is nothing more than the snippet I read on the classic view page.

Actually, I should note that after a little more reading, there are people who recommend letting sponges dry online. I haven't seen any reputable source recommend that though - so I'm not sure how local humidity is taken into account, how long it actually takes to dry a sponge, and how long after allowing the sponge

From my brief stint of sponge research, the best ways to disinfect a sponge are: microwave, bleach, and outright replacement. Not a darn thing about letting your sponge dry out, since lots of germs actually do quite well in dry places, and a dry sponge actually retains more moisture than you think.

And makes your clothing smell like vinegar! That will get you the compliments.

Irrelevant fact. They block internet video because of the rest of the workday, not your lunch hour (probably... unless someone in IT simply dislikes you). I worked in an office where many websites were blocked, and despite my clock reading 12:30 those websites were still blocked, because many other people had lunch

Very likely it's because they don't pay you to hang out on the internet.

Crack pipe. CRACK PIPE! This is one of those cars that distract me from driving. I get the thankfully controllable urge to crash into them.

The article said nothing about the iPad belonging to the 8 year old girl. That, and the bill for smurfberries comes to an amount several times what the device costs. Many people owning iPads would consider that a hardship.

The mills that I have tried grind inconsistently, so I end up with large chunks of pepper that make my eyes water and my throat itch. Until I can afford a nice grinder, I'll stick with my pre-ground pepper.
