BAE: Come over

As Mr. Clarkson would say, "that is strong pornography."

Work at Ames Performance Engineering over in Spofford! Pontiacs allllllll day

I work for a Pontiac restoration shop and I definitely agree with you. That Catalina is worth every dime. That is one rare Tin Indian. Very cool drag car

As a Porsche fan, I love how the 911 is the competition standard for anything new coming out. I have an archive of R&T mags and all the old articles for Corvettes, Ferraris, etc. all pit the 911 as the competition. Love it. Wouldn't change the list a bit. Cheers

Now the questions becomes, what will be powering the new DB? Also, is it kind of sacrilegious to give it the DB name and only make 10 examples?

I really wonder what legal action they can take...I'm going to find it hilarious if they change the name

.....But they let two cog trains and hundreds of tourists up and down the mountain everyday with vehicles....I'm having a hard time seeing the difference for some rally cars. Either way, that's a shame. Thanks for the info Dusty.

It was PACKED. We couldn't deal with it. What annoyed me was we couldn't get our picture taken with the summit sign. We had to wait in line for people that were fresh off the Cog Rail to take there pictures first. Which trail did you come up? We may have passed you on the way down if you hiked up Boott Spur.

Do you guys go right up to the parking lot at the observatory or stop some where before that? (I want to remember this for next year)

We left Pinkham Notch at about 9:30 and hiked Tuckerman Trail and Lion Head. I think we were up there around 2.

Same here. I underestimated how many people would be up there. We ended up hiking a little bit back down and then stopping to eat just to get out of the crowd. That T-Rex was the only interesting thing I saw besides some standard Corvettes, an S2000 and some crotch rockets.

Couldn't have been too many of them around that day. That was in the parking lot at the top of Mount Washington when we got there.

I climbed the mountain on Saturday and I could hear the cars most of the way up. Just above Tuckerman Ravine, we made the finally haul to the top and I didn't hear anything past that. I was so bummed but the views made up for it. I don't think that cars come that far up. I took that picture from the observation deck

Was it this one? haha

I can't believe I was on the mountain that weekend and didn't get to see any of this action. Dammit.

Not to bring up anything bad, I honestly just don't know. What made you jump to Dempsey racing from Flying Lizard? It seemed like you had good chemistry with Jorg and the team

Porsche. From their LeMans cars, F1 contributions from car designs for the Auto Union and Mercedes to the monster engines in the 80's for McLaren, rally cars, Cup cars, Indy cars, etc. The only thing I can think of that they haven't had a hand in is NASCAR. Hands down.

They seem to always have something secretive up their sleeve. Who knows, they could be in development and make a late season annoucement. I can only hope. If they dedicated the same money and technology to a prototype like they do with their F1, I have no doubt it could be a contender. I need more teams to watch in

I would really like to see them come back to LMP1 in WEC. I was hoping they were going to make an announcement with all this F1 trouble.
