Yeah, those “sellers” always seem to find an opportunity to offload their merch even when it’s something the recipient doesn’t want or need and won’t use.

Don’t forget 31! Or is it Thirty-0ne? An acquaintance recently started selling, then sent a FB invite to come to her “party” in which guests were required to bring a dish to pass and wine. Oh sure, bring my own food and drink to a gathering in which you’re gonna hawk overpriced crap and guilt me into buying it? NOPE!
Me too, and in previous years people were still sharing stories on the winner threads, giving us more stories to read. Now everyone’s waiting until next year. Gives me the sads :/
found the Hamburger story! It won and was featured in a collection of winners, but the WTF comment was from the original thread and I couldn’t find that
There was a story a few years ago from a commentor whose young son was given a toy bear he named Hamburger. He drew a pic of gravestones and the bodies below them and when the parent freaked out, he said “Hamburger told me to draw that.”
Also it took waaayyyy toooo loooonnnnggg to type in that short comment
WTF Kinja?
Indeed. You get me. And I love your handle.
Hamburger and the “wtf Hamburger” comment below refer to a scary story from a few years back in which a commenter’s young son had a teddy bear named Hamburger that he said told him to draw creepy pictures, like images of headstones and the bodies buried below. Any Jezzies have the link?
Hamburger. Hamburger was phone.
Cosigned. After a few weeks of Bumble, it all feels icky and shallow to me. I took time to fill out a profile and state what I was looking for, with good pics. The majority of men have blurry, grainy pics, and no info in their profiles. Pass. Oh and it only took less than 24 hours to get my first creeper with an…
“On the internet, women lower thier standards, while men raise theirs to an unrealistic degree”
Oh yeah. I reread the story about the creepy attic room and it was a goat head on a man’s body. EEK! And now I remember more about the scarecrow character story that haunted dreams and did really bad stuff. That one was super creepy AF. She gave it a name too though I can’t remember.
OMG that is so freaky!
Here’s a link to the 2014 scary stories thread. I think the car clock story might be in there and overall there were some terrifying stories that year
Oh thanks! I’ll check it out. Reading the recaps is better than watching the show
I miss Richard Lawson’s brilliant RH recaps
Same. Read the whole thread and was “meh.” Wanted more paranormal freaky unexplained weirdness. Was recently thinking of the story of the cat clock house, ie the boyfriend who was trying to go home late one night but seemed to have landed on another time plane. Nw that’s some freaky shit.
Wow, very interesting. And I thought the worst thing I could catch while in the hospital was MRSA.
My mind immediately jumped to Elle in the courtroom after dismissing the liklihood of covering bright blue hair with blonde dye.
Also surprising is there are no spirit board stories. In past years, seems like there were more. I read them only as positive reinforcement to stay the heck away from those things.
