Britt was the Kelly Kapowski of last season. Lots of hair and a pretty smile but no substance.

Is that your hair? Gorgeous!

My surgery was to correct a deviated septum. Between the sepum issue and having giant tonsils I was getting frequent sinus infections. My doc said the tonsils were promoting infection. Don’t remember the exact medical explanation. Same here - breathing was hard and I had my nose packed with cotton for the first 24

Oh and also broth or creamy soups too. I remember joking to a friend that I was subsisting on anything I could drink through a straw (and having straws handy migh be a good idea too).

Thanks! It was a long time coming. I'm a print designer for a custom publishing company that's owned by a newspaper. I worry about the long-term viability of my job. What do you do as an environmental designer? That sounds like an interesting field.

Thanks! I loved that show and I really identified with Tom’s snark. I love that now all episodes can be steamed online.

I had my tonsils out at age 25 along with sinus surgery. It was a while ago but I remember my throat hurt a lot and it was hard to swallow the first day and talking was a little difficult.. I lived on cold, blended beverages for the first few day. So basically it's a great excuse to have a milkshake every day. Hope it

Me too. I probably have a touch of SAD becUse these last two months were extra hard for me. Why do I live in the Midwest????

Thanks. Hoping I can have a shot at getting into the black.

Congrats on the good review and hope you get those $$! I was in the same boat too (that's what I get for working in a struggling industry) but just got a raise and promotion so it does happen. Are you in a creative field?

It's that all one has to do to step out of the gray abyss?

Oh I am fully aware of that power. That's not just a baby; we are gazing upon a 2066 presidential nominee. #idiocracy

Oh wow. An oblivious friend is a tough one (and hard on the ears). Best to stay away from that. At least my aunt owns her bad singing and has a sense of humor. She thought it was funny that people in church behind her were laughing at her singing. “I just kept on singing,” she said. She is 76.

That's where I first heard of her and became intrigued. My aunt loves to sing but admits she is tone deaf so I shared it with her. Definitely worth a listen http://snapjudgment.org/queen-night

My thoughts exactly. Srsly she looks more like Celine than Jen.

I would love to hear more stories. Do you have a blog? If not, you should. For the same reasons I love touring historic sites and historic homes to get a glimpse of how people lived. I used to help with architectural salvage for an “old house” nonprofite and while it is sad for any historic building to be torn down,

Oh yeah, young Miranda as the blonde flower child. I must have watched that movie 100 times when my family first got cable. And I remember her famous line: “It’s ginseng. Drink it. It’ll make you sexy.” She was Team Tatum, trying to get her laid with the older camp counselor.

That is horrid that just because a site is abandoned there is no respect for it or the people who suffered there. One thing I like about Matthew Christopher’s blog is that he is respectful of his surroundings and often gives the places he photographs a pseudonym to prevent that sort of destruction by vandals. Yup. You barely see Samanth on the edited version.

That’s how I feel about the show Friends. Can’t stand reruns because it’s like stepping into a time warp and running into your friend from college who is still rocking a Rachel, chunky Mary Janes and a sundress over a T-shirt speaking in Chandler’s affected speech pattern. No thanks. These “friends” can all stay in
