What are your thoughts on Johnny B? He’s now on WLS at a time that doesn’t coincide with my commute so I don’t listen any more. He can be annoying in an overly ADD way but I have been a fan since the 80s. Yes I am an old.

So much yes to the Eric & Kathy haters. They are not funny and their presentation is annoying. Eric throws out a bunch of random not-funny phrases and Kathy simply parrots them. Their callers annoy me too. Based on the listeners who phone in, I picture them being 20-something newly married basic bitches from Lincoln

I am a huge NPR geek so most of my morning commute is listening to WBEZ or for decent music XRT. Can’t stomach any of the morning shows especially Eric and Kathy. How they ever got to No. 1 is beyond me.

Mancow is such a pig. Like he is trying to be Howard Stern and failing miserably. Couldn’t even stand him in that budget insurance commercial either. So not funny.

Consigned. Terrible writer. I grabbed The Notebook at an airport bookstore many years ago to read on a flight I couldn’t even make it past the first few pages of sappy prose and just bad writing. That book should be used as a lesson in creative writing classes of how not to write.

Ah, a kindered spirit who realizes Tom’s superior intelligence and witty humor surpasses that of all other bots! High five right back atcha! I’m always glad to run into fellow MSTies on this thread!

Definitely give Mozart in the Jungle a try, especially if you like classical music. I thought it was an interesting behind-the-scenes look at the lives of those in the orchestra, and what goes into keeping it functioning.

Yah, that pic pretty much sums up my VDay plans except there will be two cats, the Coke can will be a wine bottle and one straw just for me. I'm not sharing my wine with those freeloading cats!

Same. It makes for a quick, easy lunch. I portion the soup into containers on Sunday, then just throw one in my bag each day. I have to get up so early for work, the less I need to think about in the morning, the better. Plus, soup is the most delicious winter meal.

So these must have been the sales clerks?

Reality show gold it was. Home-schooling the girls in the teaching of The Secret. Girls making vision boards for homework. Bling Ring movie was awful though.

So true. When I look at his work, I am always struck by the beauty, forgetting that functionality came second to him. FLW definitely was an architectural diva, and very arrogant as well (and a real a-hole in his personal life). Have you toured any of his designs and as an architect did you notice issues others would

It was supposed to be a joke (and a bad one at that). Legend has it FLW would visit owners of his homes and if they so much as changed a doorknob, he’d tell them they couldn’t call it FLW any more because they marred his design. Bikram demand his yoga be performed in the same pose sequence every time. Any instructor

Agreed. I would gladly tour all of FLW’s creations but I would never set foot in a Bikram class. Falling Water is an architectural gem. The above pic is my idea of the third circle of Hades (though there is probably lots o’ water falling off those bodies).

Thanks. The article was very enlightening, especially this part below because we all know that yoga and the path to enlightenment is about amassing a shit-ton of expensive material posessions. Yoga: I’m doing it wrong!

He created a series of 26 yoga poses done in a hot room then tried to trademark it but failed. Which to me is BS. Yoga belongs to the people! Also to be classified as a Bikram studio or instructor they have to take his training and teach the poses in his specific order otherwise it’s not Bikram. I call him the Frank

Yup. Nancy Drew was actually “diverse” by 1930s standards: Nancy was the hot one, George was the lesbian and Bess was the fat one.

Thanks for the tip. Awww, what a sweet face (though he has a bit of a perturbed expression as my cats do when I am trying to take pics of them as in “stop flashing that bright light in my face. I’m trying to lounge here, yo!”). I am partial to gray and white kitties too. What a beauty. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing your story. Losing a kitty is tragically heartbreaking. Your story is also encouraging and giving me hope that my boy kitty still has more good years ahead of him. I lost my first boy kitty to cancer :( He hid it from me and by the time it was diagnosed it had spread all over his body found through

Stupid autocorrect. Meant Lolz. Who is Lola?
