Romeo and Juliette were morons but they were also 16 and 13. Prime ages for stupidity.

I personally love a nice, moist suspension.

One day I will take a trip out West to bring back an old rust-free car.

It doesn’t matter who collects a tax. If the recipient is a government, it is a tax. If the recipient is a company, it is a fee. Stores don’t get to keep your sales tax.

When I was a highschooler, my brother and I took our old ‘89 Chev Caprice wagon out, heading to the next town over. We made it about 10 miles before the transmission puked its fluid out. We called my dad and instead of coming out with his truck, he drove mom’s 95 Escort. He towed the caprice back the whole way with

This is a case of you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. If the additive wasn’t used for tires, they wouldn’t last as long and we would have to manufacture more tires. There’s no easy solution to the problem.

Highest odometer reading we ever got to was around 240,000. Commuter duty in Western NY meant that rust was a major issue. One was sold and driven into the ground, the second got so rusty that our shop said the rear suspension was in imminent danger of falling off, the third one hit a deer, the fourth also died due to

I caught Erin using the word ‘providence’ when describing Canadian provinces several times. They really need a good editor for all content.

Suspension dampening is totally a thing. If I spray my springs with water, they get damp. I am dampening my suspension. ;)

Moral of the story, keep your kid away from real planes.

I thought my family’s run of 4 escorts in a row was impressive but I take my hat off to you. I learned to drive on a 91 escort with a 5 speed. Good times.

Never trust a fiction writer. Their career is literally based on lies!

First time I saw a Land Cruiser was at the house of a former MLB pitcher. I was just a kid working on a landscaping crew. The guy’s wife drove a Land Cruiser and at the time I thought it was just some regular Toyota. I thought it was pretty weird of her to drive that rather than some luxury car/suv. A few years later

You are exactly right about premium trucks. People that buy them want to display some bit of working class roots. That’s why the F150 Platinum sells and the Lincoln Blockwood and Mark LT didn’t. Hell, the Yukon Denali and Escalade are very similar but are bought by 2 different demographics.

Why do you need a chase car for a bus? Why not tow a car on a dolly if you need one. Or better yet, throw some scooters in the bus.

Exactly my thoughts. If $30k were chump change for me, I would buy this and use it as a daily just for the laughs.

Road use really wears out tractor tires, they are not cheap. Most guys I know just get a tank and have the fuel truck come by and fill them up.

In the first half of the article, it was referred to as ‘Manson, TN’, around the middle, it somehow switched to ‘Mason, TN’.

I don’t mind exposed carbon fiber. What’s really tacky is fake carbon fiber.

The Esprit is a dream car of mine. I would gladly suffer through Lotus ownership.
