With that setup, BMW could have done ‘displacement on demand’ really easily. Could even alternate which cylinder bank shuts down. The world needs more V12's. 

My mom just picked up a 2014ish Mirage for $4k. She’s retired and drives into town a couple of times a week. Perfect car for her.

I’m the manager at a chemical manufacturing plant, and funny enough I was the first one on site after our big snowstorm in January. Because I grew up on a farm, I was the most experience on a tractor that made it in so I spent the day clearing snow. It was a pretty fun day.

I’m pretty sure the gambling only takes place in international waters. No idea about maritime laws and gambling. Once again, I don’t know if there is truth to that but it does make sense and slot machines can be set with a programmed payout.

I have heard that the slot machines are set to pay out more at the beginning of the week. That way people start talking about winning big and draw more to the machines. As the week progresses, the payouts get less and less to rake in the dough. If its true, maybe dude could win a few jackpots to keep things rolling. 

AND due to the swap the lockers don’t work. So this Jeep now has more power but LESS off road capability.

My wife and I have 4 vehicles between us. If all of a sudden one of our DD’s suffered catastrophic failure, we could order one. Without that buffer, we would need to buy off the lot.

An issue that will become big is lithium and cobalt mining. Everybody wants EV’s but nobody wants a lithium mine.

Agreed. I don’t plan on getting a new car for a few years. We don’t owe anything on our cars at this point so they will be driven until they are on death’s door. Hopefully by then, Putin will be thoroughly defeated and material prices normalized.
