She shouldn’t have been arrested because why? Because you don’t think her behavior transgressed your personal standard of what constitutes appropriate/legal behavior?

As stylish as this looks, if they aren’t busting the high level DEA agents enabling all that drug trafficking or the CIA factions arming and supplying the forces controlling drug fields that are rebeling against the governments that the CIA covertly put into power I don’t see how this is different from any other $60

This is the problem: white people live in such rarified air that they can’t conceive of a world that doesn’t constantly defer to their personal lived experience. Interfering with a cop in the performance of their duties and/or causing a public disturbance and paying a marginal consequence for one’s conscious actions

“We won’t charge you to play the games you already own.”

I didn’t quote her at any point. I described her behavior as anyone reading what I actually wrote would realize along with the fact that I didn’t call her a bitch. But the debate you’re having with the persona you’ve created sounds way more interesting. Please continue.

You’re being obtuse. They responded to a noise complaint. There was drinking. There was reasonable suspicion that the party goers were underage. She tried to break bad. They didn’t arrest her for drinking. They arrested her for causing a disturbance.

I don’t know her. I did not call her a bitch. Her behavior demonstrates that she believes she and her friends are entitled to a different standard of treatment than every other citizen in NY and the manner and tone of her conversation with the police is germaine as that’s what got her detained in the first place. But

Which is not the heifer who’s high end defense attorney mother files a lawsuit because the police caught her and her fellow under the legal drinking age friends drinking.

Can’t tell a female centered store without relying on sexual innuendo = Fail.

You really think she was calmly articulating everyone’s 4th amendment rights from a respectful distance or was she “My mother will sue shit out of you fucking losers! Why don’t you go back to your row house in Camden, you high school drop out?!” etc., etc.? That’s why they took her downtown. The cops can arrest you

The police have been killing/harassing/profiling/abusing black people for, well, ever and we’ve been steady telling y’all but y’all were all, “Why don’t they just comply?” and “Police have a difficult, dangerous job.” and all that other good bullshit white people spew when an innocent, unarmed black person is murdered

Only the powerless can be victims of abuse of power.

I think I’ve made it pretty clear that this bullshit angers me to no end.

I don’t harbor any personal animus towards her. I’m angry because they, like you, placed themselves at the center of everything. I’m angry because her brief, fleeting encounter with a member of law enforcement resulting in her having to Uber it from the precinct back uptown is held up to be some gross miscarriage of

All the muhfukn stars, B!

And if Aunt Jemimah had balls she’d be Uncle Ben. Your point?

I don’t think that word means what you think it means.

She was arrested because that’s what can happen to people who jaw at the police. She was afforded due process and cleared of wrongdoing. Her rights weren’t violated. She was just inconvenienced. And here I am devoid of fucks to give.
