This isn’t a remake of the Bogart film. In 1951, Herman Wouk wrote a book called The Caine Mutiny, which, in 1954, was adapted into a film by Columbia Pictures also called The Caine Mutiny, starring Humphrey Bogart. But the previous year, 1953, Wouk himself had adapted the book into a stage play called The Caine

It’s not that people were afraid to upset North Korea. NK committed the Sony Pictures hack and demanded that picture be pulled from release. I think there were some follow-up threats as well but I can’t remember what those were.

I think the 4:3 aspect ratio was meant to evoke an old 8mm home movie.

In regards to Weird City that means only the first two episodes are free at the moment and the rest are premium which is a right pain in the neck.

Youtube Originals are free now, supported by ads. If you pay for premium, you get the content without ads.

Youtube Originals are free to watch.

It was a joke, Mark. I was joking.

Actually the episode’s title references the Black Museum, an Old Time Radio show that was hosted/narrated by Orson Welles and the actual Black Museum, a crime museum in London, which served as the basis for the radio show and inspired the museum in the Black Mirror episode.

Ah, a day late is not bad - Karl had to wait ten years to see his vision realised onscreen and he’s probably a little disappointed they decided not to feature Clive Warren and Rebecca De Mornay in the lead roles.

Any fans of The Ricky Gervais Show notice the similarities between this episode and two movies pitched by karl Pilkington?
