I sort of prefer head canon when it comes to protagonist responses. You can give the character its own tone of voice, interpret it as you like, etc.

New Vegas definitely improved the Power Armor rarity and requirements. You needed training, but it was offered in multiple scenarios.
“I spent a shit ton of time killing one of the Outcast’s and stealing his armor at a REALLY low level, and for no other reason that ‘You haven’t moved forward how we wanted you to yet’ I wasn’t able to wear it. God that was frustrating. “
Given the current climate they’d be stupid to not have voices for both genders. Especially in a game where you’ve been able to pick your gender before.
Hopefully you can still pick your sex and there are voices for both. Not to be all SJW but its kinda a big deal for a lot of people ( hell half the mods on the nexus are for female characters.)
It’s not all about the visuals.
I don’t know how to handle this much color in my Fallout. It looks fantastic.
I jumped into Fallout 3 fresh...my first Fallout game. I’m sure there were some references lost on me, but it didn’t seem to make too much of a difference. You really get absorbed into these games by reading all the books and notes you encounter so you’ll be fine.
IMO New Vegas > Fallout 3 > Skyrim
It’s not cross-gen? There is a God!!!
Having never watched GT.... what the heck were they thinking?!?!?

I think I get what you’re saying but I disagree: American media is to some extent global media. There are few other film, book, tv industries that get exported, especially on such a wide scale. So it’s important that american media gets more diverse. With more diverse characters appearing we can have both (to use your…
I write about white people, hafu people, black people, gay people. Getting a character wrong is the risk you take even if you write about someone exactly like yourself. And if you limit yourself to people like you, I believe that’s what we call fanfiction. Which is fine, but I won’t pay for that.
I’m gonna admit up front that I’m cranky and probably should have downed some wine before reading this article, but here it goes. Stop the BS. Diversity is not a hard concept. It doesn’t mean forced quotas (two blacks, an Indian and four lesbians ought to do it!) or, waaaaah, you have to write stories about people and…
I think I understand a bit. But I could be wrong. From what I am getting is that diversity is relative.
Diverse to whom. Lawd. I need alcohol. Trust me, I get what she’s saying. It doesn’t make me any less pissed at her reasoning. It’s right up there with Michele Rodriguez saying that we need to stop messing with white superheroes by making them not white for once in a while.
Well, it’s the difference between having equally well-developed characters from various backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, et. al., and saying, “We need a black in this book. Which character can we darken? And can we make it a lesbian? There aren’t enough of those yet.”
One of them is what we want. The other is…
And you know anyone who thinks Pig in the City is a movie for especially young kids hasn't seen it. It's one of the darkest kids movies of the 90s.
