This is semi tongue in cheek, but I've always wondered why these types of people don't legislate the bodies of men too. I know why they don't but logically, this would follow their line of thinking.

The few times I've seen discussions about it (especially online), people get accused of 'humblebragging' or being told to shut up since they've got it so good. :( Very dismissive.

I've had this inherent bias too. It's ingrained and often unconscious. It's also about what's 'appropriate' for men to read. There's this knee-jerk feeling I get still when I find the 'wrong' name on a cover. It sucks, but not as hard as it sucks being judged purely for your name.
