I might be alone in this disappointment, but I can’t believe another year has gone by without Sony releasing PS1 games for PS4.

With those two games in particular—FF4 and order of ecclesia—should be pretty easy to pick up again.

Also tangential, I always find it confounding when Christians site their religion as the reason they disapprove of something like Halloween when the bible doesn’t say anything about it.

No. I mean libertarians.

I agree with wanting to have a space where we can go and play games together and leave all the politics aside; hell, games are probably the only way I’ve been able to tolerate some of the more insufferable libertarian friends I have had over the years.

What the fuck is wrong with people? If you show anything other than empathy toward an appeal to curb sexual assault in any community, you are a monster. Period.

Yes!!!

I really pity people with this idea that they have to remain a virgin until marriage. Sex is such an important part of a marital relationship and you should take the opportunity to see if you and your partner are compatible in that area.

I think part of the issue is that she kinda frames femenism as being able to live on your own as a lady... That’s what I inferred when she contrasted her vision of early marriage with 12 kids and a picket fence with the “femenist dream” she's living now.

While I don't wish child abuse on anyone, I would be pretty tickled to see someone try to use the collective works of Ezra Pound as a legal defense.

Hmmm... That’s funny. I hit ctrl and F and I can’t find where I used the word “bad” in my comments. It’s as if you were misrepresenting my statements by removing all the nuance and changing the wording in order to make it easier to argue against...

Not super big on Star Wars (trek is more my thing).

Religion is made by people. But religious people are not necessarily stupid... Just like atheists are not necessarily smart.

I appreciate you trying to find a gentler way to explain my feelings while still remaining true to my thesis.

...Except people don’t beat their kid and then claim that a poem made them do it.

I know right?

I’m still making my way through researching the abrahamic religions, so I’ve not gotten to the Bavada Gita yet nor have I gone in depth with Buddhism.

It’s hard to say whether or not religion a requirement for the development of society, but I don’t think it’s globalization that turned it into a point of conflict; I think that’s just the nature of religion.

I think your number is a bit low. Last I checked, there was 4000 different sects of Christianity alone.
