I feel like videogame development has a problem where the ‘veteran’ developers came up leading small teams producing for hardware that had fewer capabilities. Then they get into these positions where they’re responsible for big AAA games, and they never got around to learning proper project management.

Well, I guess if it’s like: Xbox owners have the opportunity to have 100% access to stuff like Gears, Halo, Fable etc. through game pass and Playstation owners have to pay full price and wait >12 months to get access to them... I guess I could see it making sense and not being a complete, unilateral disarmament in the

I’m generally of that sentiment as well, but I’d like to get back to the point where the switch was in 2017-2020 when you could (for the most part) blindly buy an indie/AA game and be assured that it ran in an acceptable state.

For the love of god Nintendo, please make the next model support bluetooth headphones with little to no lag!

Personally, I think people sleep on the subway veggie patty.

Looks like the stunt worked. He’s getting free press and exposure to audiences who otherwise wouldn’t have known about him

I’m not an IP lawyer or anything, but I thought the legal understanding is that you can’t copywrite things that clearly generic: i.e. ‘Lyft’ and ‘Google’ deliberately misspell ‘lift’ and ‘googol’ so they can be wholly owned by the companies.

I feel like Baldur’s Gate 3 is a glaring omission in this.

As a person that games across nearly every platform, I find myself drawn to PS5 because of the controller features. Aside from the obvious haptic rumble and tension triggers, being able to mute myself on chat when I snack or mute the entire game quickly from a button push was a game changer. It’s also fun to be able

Yeah, underwhelming is basically the one word review for Starfield. It’s still fun to romp around in a Bethesda style RPG, and I genuinely dig the style (also, it’s nice to have a sci-fi game once in a while that has a ‘Foundation’ type universe without a focus on sentient, bi-pedal aliens), but it’s far from the

If we really want to get philosophical about art: I’m not sure intent is actually required. Made me think of this video...

...I mean, most PCs don’t have a disc drive these days, but I love the enthusiasm!

I found myself falling into this pattern last year, and I was only semi-aware that I was doing it.

That’s a good point, and actually, I could see the logic of focusing your internal console production on long, story-driven, blockbusters and letting some of the smaller teams with quirky ideas drive the PSVR2. And having played with the PSVR2 at this past CES, I can say that it is really compelling tech. It feels

While I’m sympathetic to your general sentiment, as a professional photographer for the past 17 years or so I can confirm that there still are entry and midlevel photography jobs.

Immersion aside, as a person who runs hot and sweats profusely, I wouldn’t mind just having it stuck on cold. And there are even more examples of people with the opposite issue (old people, people with poor circulation, people who live with bad insulation, etc.) that would probably love a controller with a little heat

My local comic store buys common cards by the pound. So even if you don’t want to sort by rarity (which wouldn’t take that long as uncommon and rare cards have silver and gold symbols under the art), you could still make a few bucks.

This happened to me at least once with every Prime game, and it’s tough. And I found the hint’s to be too vague.

Many people simply can’t separate the art from the artist. I mean, I for one can’t listen to Louis CK without picturing him jerking off in front of unwilling women. However, I am still able to enjoy watching an old seinfeld episode on netflix even though I know Steve Bannon purchased the rights to some of them and
