It’s fine if Nintendo’s style of game design doesn’t appeal to you, but to say Nintendo’s track record hasn’t been good the past 5 years is utterly false. Sure their hardware sales haven’t been great, but the software they’ve published has (generally) been second to none.
People should buy Sin and Punishment: Star Successor off the Wii U eShop instead. There is no better on-rails shooter than this overlooked gem.
To be fair, they're likely putting most of their efforts toward the NX.
Well, my point is that this “paid for your time” Kickstarter only seems to be the precedent with games development (perhaps app development too, I don’t really follow those).
This is what I don’t get as a fellow creative: Why are you asking for Kickstarter money in the first place?
That’s totally true. My best friend isn’t much of a gamer, but used to be all about Madden. I was over at his house the other day and saw his PS4 copy of 2016 on the shelf and asked how it was; he replied, “man, it’s too complicated now. It’s not even fun anymore.”
While it's not without its flaws, it is the best collection of Zelda dungeons.
Laguardia is absolutely the worst airport on the face of the planet. My condolences to anyone that has to step into this place.
I once baked a loaf of banana bread during a game of Dota. Not only did my team win, but I had warm baked goods to celebrate with.
Same thing happened to me when GTA V asked me to install a 7 gb file on my consoles 4 gb internal memory. My solution was to walk over to the desk where I keep old camera cards and flash drives, then put one in the console.
One note: most cinematographers—on big budget sets like man of steel— don’t touch the camera. So it'd be the camera operator having the stroke.
I’ve been using Tacojelly for over 20 years now over myriad accounts... I find it baffling when I jump into a new service and discover it has already been taken.
Meanwhile, I'm still waiting patiently for Mother 3 to come out...
I don’t know. I closing in on 400 myself, and for me it starts to become a meta-game itself—see how unnecessarily big you can make that number.
I played through it for the first time last year, after many failed attempts in years prior, and I have to say that it’s still very much worth seeing to the end (particularly if you’re a fan of Human Revolution).
Yes. We should all stop picking the games we play and discus based on quality or craft and instead only focus all our attention on games made by “respectful” people.
It’s in my top ten favorite games of all time. And I don’t think anybody will be able to replicate what it was like when it first launched.
For real, I’ve been saying this for forever. Many great artists—be they game designers, filmmakers, writers, etc.—are insufferable, unapologetic assholes; it doesn’t make the art they create any less valid.
There’s an NPC that you can recruit for that fight that makes it much easier.
