I don’t understand why Konami would leverage a license like this if they full well they’re not going to fuel interest by putting out more games.

Why would they go bankrupt? From what I understand their business is doing quite well, they’re just moving out of console games development.

I’m going through as many Metal Gears as I can also. I’m debating whether or not I want to buy a PS3 solely for the purpose of playing MGS4... I never had a PS3 and (now that Last of Us, Journey, and Valkyria Chronicles have been ported) it remains as the only game I want to play that I can’t get else where.

As somebody with tastes that aren’t often parallel with popular opinion, I don’t think this will work out in my favor.

Yeah, I really do wish Nintendo got with the program and started a subscription service that gave away indies and VC titles. Getting a little money a month from a bunch of people, not to mention getting them to use the device on a regular basis, is far better than quietly building up a catalogue of classic GBA games…

I feel like most people have been down on Sony’s free game selection, but I feel like it’s been pretty spot on for the most part. I think the real problem is with the Sony fans that don’t give an honest shot to everything.

You should just get a Wii U. Even if you only go for the exclusives, it’s still a worthy purchase in my opinion. I mean, besides Bayonetta 2 you’ve got the best Mario Kart since DS, the best Smash since Melee, great 2D and 3D Mario games (and Mario Maker coming soon), Pikmin 3, an easy (legal) way to play older games…

Being somebody that has never played any of the originals, and hence the target audience for this collection, I’m really not interested in anything other than plowing through the single player content. Even if multiplayer was included, I doubt I'd use it.

I hope it gets published in America, even if it’s a gamestop exclusive disc like Xenoblade. It seems a waste to not put it out.
