Come on now. Rommy is the greatest fan ever. He has told us so.

TWO... Yes, TWO Ford GT articles in one day! The Jalopnik hipsters rejoice!

Can we bash the Corvette now? Oh wait, the Daily-Jalopnik-Bash-the-Corvette Post was earlier. My bad.

God doesn’t hate NASAR- God hates Brian France and NASCAR is just collateral damage.

Because God is a motorsport purist....as he should be.

Corvette scored their 100th win. Why isn’t this plastered all over Jalopnik....?

/oh right, they’re not the Ford GT.

It was me (26) and my college roommate there in a 77 vette this year! (Admittedly it was his dad’s though...).

So the Chevy car being more detuned means they built a worse car than Ford? Your argument is shit. Just the fact that Ford was allowed to bring four cars should be indication enough of a unbalanced field even if you forget the BOP.

No hater hear. Facts are facts. The GT is not a GTE car. The fact that Ford has also sold absolutely zero of them also means under the rules it wouldn’t be in the race except by the good graces of the other GET teams ok’ing it. What I’m sure the other teams didn’t agree too was Ford sandbagging all seasnon which is

Risi Comp has one this race 4 times since the late 90's...not bad for a car dealership. How much money does Ford have to put into this program to beat them?

though I was desperately hoping the R18 was too

Yawn... didn’t see this happening.

“More than you can afford, pal......”

Or maybe he was doing lines of blow in the bathroom that made him think he was going to go work on a mid engine Vette. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

I’m hoping that the fans who are turning on NASCAR will find interest in GT racing. With IMSA adopting the GT3 spec for GTD, and PWC adopting GT4 for GTS, there has never been a better time to be a GT racing fan. Granted the IMSA WeatherTech GTLM and GTD/GT3 cars are pretty far from street cars, but they’re closer

Thank God it is finally happening. It took a few decades of getting further and further from the excitement of cars that were at least representative of actual stock cars. They kept making it more lame, more boring, and made the cars, engines and platforms so much the same... who in their living right mind even cared

I’m between Gen X and Millenial, and I’d buy a Caddy *TS-V before I bought an M or AMG. Lexus isn’t on my radar at all except to look at and go “ugh, aww HELL no”.

Of course, I’d also much rather have a Focus RS than an ATS anything, so maybe I’m not representative of the right potential buying group.

Alright thanks, I agree with the FCY problem, I'll try to relay the information.

lolwut? I can see that MAYBE if you think that racing is just something to watch on TV while listlessly checking Facebook. I think racing is a spectacle worth experiencing because of all the other stuff that happens at the track. I love it. Visiting the pits, talking to the drivers and crew, being around other car

Make American luxury great again?

Nobody cares?
