I’m having a hard time believing that there are Bears fans in Chicago.

How about a Ping Pong game?

GTA V and RDR are two of the greatest games ever made, and LA Noire was a huge disappointment, so I’m gonna have to disagree.

Announcing GTAV blood bank heist in honor of Halloween!

Like a glutton for punishment, I watched a couple minutes of that rally live on youtube. Two minutes was about as much as I could stand, featuring many of his ‘greatest hits’ (33,000 deleted emails!!), and the crowd actually chanting “lock her up!”. Which I’d read happened at his rallies, but was so jarring to see

Trump will next criticize Clinton’s ill-fitting suits, her inexplicably orange skin, her tendency to loom over people, and her terrible comb-over. “I hear she just reaches out and grabs people by the pussy, is what I hear” reports Trump.

Mr. Trump was clearly joking!!! The liberal media needs to spend less time examining the actual words and rhetoric of Donald Trump, and more time examining Hillary Clinton’s urine and hair follicles.

sorry, president evil, her drug tests are currently being audited.

Yea, I almost always turn it off. Even if it weren’t full of hot garbage, the thing moves to fast to helpful. Got better things to do than watch the Internet’s subconscious dry heave into a chat window.

Look folks, this is locker room talk. And quite frankly, and I’m ashamed to admit but it’s a thin. And you hear these things, sad!

For example if Saving Private Ryan and Inglorious Bastards were packaged together in a 2 for 1, or shown as a double feature, you would not review both movies together as a singular movie.

For starters? It helps us examine phenomena like this. It helps us measure and understand developer intentions. It helps us understand Battlefield 1 as a complete object and whether or not it can deliver on said developer intentions.

I honestly don’t know what else you want me to say. If you want my take on the multiplayer, you’ll have it in my review. If you’re curious why I’m focusing on the entire game in this piece, it is because I personally think it is important to take a holistic look at games from time to time.

I’d be doing a disservice to you and other readers if ignored the moments when it stumbles

This. I think viewing them as two different experiences is, at least from a critical perspective, a very poor idea.

The issue here is: Battlefield 1 is both the single player and the multiplayer. As a single creative work, it’s fair to question what that work is trying to say about its themes and/or subject matter. The issue here is that the single player campaign’s goal is to make a meaningful comment on World War 1 as a human

I mean, you could argue that respawn mechanics are fundamentally powerful in expressing the scale of a conflict. The enemy is a objective A and your team just keeps throwing waves and waves of bodies at them.

but that isn’t how this is packaged, it isn’t;

I’ve been thinking about it and one way is to position multiplayer into a clearer context. To an extent, they do this with the Operations mode.
