Are there really people who don’t know “coon” is a racial slur? Like it’s not used in a widespread sense anymore, but just the knowledge of it isn’t well known? I didn’t think it was that deep of a cut to be honest.

I think we need to address the much more serious concern that someone is holding you against your will and forcing you to read articles you clearly don’t want to read.
I didn’t meant to say it didn’t (my comment does seem to imply that, my bad) I just meant that Pandorum’s mutants are closer to Dead Space’s Necromorphs than anything in Event Horizon.
I’m happy to jump back in, but I’m quickly becoming really wary of anyone driving the car except me. Before all you had to really worry about was a bad driver, now it’s team killers whose only avenue to kill is with the car. First round back in months, helped put a car together in seconds and the guy with the keys…
Don’t you lose all of the bloodpoints you earned and items you brought in if you leave a game early in Dead by Daylight? So what’s the difference if you die first in DbD vs. F13? Generally shorter rounds in DbD? (could have sworn there were quitter penalties as well as quitter bonuses for killers/survivors who stay…
Pandorum has like actual monsters, right? Cannibal mutants or something? Not exactly Necromorphs but closer to it than a possessed Sam Neill and jump scare hallucinations.
So they devoted a whole episode to be an ad for their new video game?
You’re gonna ding something as uninspired right after you opened with the played out “You like a thing so you must be a shill for it” zinger?
Dungeons & Dragons podcasts: YES!
I decided to watch Star Trek Beyond on Hulu last night and didn’t even think about how sad it would be to see Anton Yelchin until Chekov first appeared.
It depends on the game.
In Overwatch your extra loot turns into gold that can be used to purchase specific items you would otherwise get from lootboxes.
Player Unknown Battlegrounds, for one.
I don’t think Mordor’s story was groundbreaking, but I didn’t think it was actively bad. The central duo had a really interesting dynamic (it helps that I am a sucker for possession stories) and I loved when the game showed the two characters interacting in extremely different ways with the same character. I think…
Oh wow those picks for the new Brawl mode are harsh on me. I can play a mean Zenyatta but I’m abysmal with the other three characters. I guess I can make do with Torbjorn by God help my poor team if I get stuck with Widowmaker. I can’t snipe to save my (or anyone else’s) life.
The concept of collecting skins and items in video games absolutely existed before lootboxes and micro-transactions.
Or just wait for the “Game of the Year edition” to inevitably go down in price?
So baseball cards are gambling too then?
Happened with a lot of the cast, and I think the hand-wavey explanation is that a lot more time has passed than in the books. Sam mentions this past season that he helped Bran pass through the wall “years” ago.
Leaving by level four or five is about the sweet spot I think, but there are some higher level areas in the Hinterlands that are worth circling back to.
