It’s worth mentioning that most Hollywood actors aren’t martial artists. They receive some quick, rudimentary training in whatever styles and weapons are pertinent to their character and then move into filming.

When I was in college I had the great privilege to meet and see martial arts demonstrations from both Jackie Chan and Steven Seagal.
