Yes!!! When I talk makeup with my friends and say I have bad skin, or talk about the different products I wear because of my skin, or go shopping for makeup and explain that I have terrible fucking skin, everyone always says "You don't need all that makeup! Your skin is so beautiful!" Yes, I know it looks beautiful!

So multiple people can't follow what the hell you are saying... and WE are the idiots... hmm... maybe you should try phrasing things coherently.

I'm on the fence about this. It is dumb and demeaning but I like the idea of people knowing what women ACTUALLY look like without makeup. Because men really don't. They think they do, but they really really don't.

Except that if he were a true feminist he would know how stupid it is to request a women who looks a specific way, even if that look is "natural." He would say "I'm a feminist male, END OF STATEMENT, because I believe a woman can choose how she wants to present herself." What he's saying is just as bad as saying "I

I so agree. Especially because it's not really about "I like how women look when they're not wearing makeup," but it's actually "I like women who are still flawless and beautiful without makeup." Honestly most men don't even know what a face without makeup really looks like. They think they're looking at a girl with

Haha yeah, in the South "minute" can literally mean "years."

That's the point moron.

Many degrees that people get in order to work at non-profits (MSW, MPA) require internships as part of your curriculum. You get paid in credit hours. I got 6 per semester and the occasional coffee was fetched but it was more like entry-level work. Non-profits work differently than corporations and have different needs

I'm not surprised, they deleted my comment calling out the hypocrisy in the coverage of Miley Cyrus vs. Rihanna. I had to post it 3 times. Hypocrisy seems to hit a specific nerve with them.

Okay Jezebel, if I promise not to mention a certain hash tag (AHEM), do you promise not to delete this comment? Again? Cause I really want to make this point:

wut

If you need confirmation of your beliefs look no further than the post about Rihanna that happened later on in the day — specifically the comments. And compare them to the comments on this article. It played out exactly like you say and it happened today on this very website... and yet everyone continues to say the

Is that why you've been deleting comments asking about the article?

Um.... why isn't my comment comparing this to the Miley Cyrus post being displayed? I can find it from my profile but I don't see it on the article. Are you serious? #nomames

The comments on this post vs. the comments on the Miley Cyrus post are just proving everyone right.

That last gif is everything. Sometimes there's literally nothing to say to people cause it's just a brick wall. Let ALT speak for you.

I hate when I look at wedding pictures and they are ruined by a good 1/3 of the people attending trying to take a cell phone pic of the first kiss or something. JUST WATCH, come on.

Where is the #solidarityisforwhitewomen hashtag when we need it. These comments are killing me. But Jezebel's silence on Hugh Schwyzer is reprehensible too and that probably won't change any time soon. So. I love Jezebel and have been reading for over 5 years but this is a disappointing time for us.

She was nice but she was so judgmental. If you dated a boy she didn't approve of or didn't go to school when she thought you needed to then she would let you know that you were wrong. I watched the show and I liked watching her clothes and her antics but her as a person? Spoiled, judgmental wet blanket. TEAM KRISTIN!

OMG yes! Although I generally don't need an excuse to spend lots of money at Sephora :B but her skin is so flawless! I'm sure it's totally natural for her. And she is so kind and is actually pretty talented and hard working and has good taste. She is so much more interesting than Lauren, and I like NYC and Kelly
