A lot of us who worked our asses off to elect Clinton still have to live here, though. I’d love to leave and live somewhere else for a while, but it’s not in the cards for me.

......today I stole a parking spot from a huge pickup truck that had a Trump Pence flag waving in its bed. He parked next to me and was like “Excuse me ma’am I was here first!” To which I replied “Well get used to not being first!” and he laughed. I’m sorry, I am past the point of going high.

Thank you. I’ve had conversations this morning with three people (all voting Hillary) who admitted that they are sort of not that horrified by the idea of a Trump victory because it will just burn it all down the faster.

Every dude in this post (except Drew) is that tedious asshole in your undergrad polisci seminar who won’t shut up about how they *get* politics and you don’t.

I’m standing by my “most.” By the numbers, you’ve got (out of 13 guys):

god I wish I had the confidence of a man, to wake up so damn sure that you are not only correct but that your opinion should be shared - nay, taught!

I know. Five long paragraphs to explain why you’re not voting at all? Just admit you don’t give a fuck about other people and move on.

I think saying you’re “holding your nose” to vote for a presidential candidate is just a weird way to put it. What you’re doing is voting for someone who you don’t entirely agree with because of the only two options that will come to pass, you know one is better than the other. It’s the same thing most of the

I just told my boyfriend not to read this article because he’d shit his pants at how stupid most of the dudes are. Although why it still surprises me I don’t know, men were steering the ship that lead here...(also I’m shocked HamNo is voting Hillary, I did not expect him to be a voice of reason)

I wish it was a surprise that all the female staff are upfront about voting for Hillary while a lot of the (mostly white) male staff either aren’t voting for either candidate because they’re not in a contested state or have to “hold their nose” to vote for her.

Good kinja

Drew’s fine; Drew can stay.

It’s astonishing isn’t it?

“Voting is fine, but it’s not enough about me. How can I make it less about other people and more about my perception of myself?”

Pet Peeve: “Abolish the Electoral College” people have never actually put more than 2 minutes of thought into the consequences of abolishing the Electoral College and thus should be ignored regarding political matters.

UGH DID THIS EVEN NEED TO BE WRITTEN???

it depends on the center- there’s a lot that goes in to maintaining a center itself- rent, bills, food, cleaning (sanitation is extremely key, we have three different levels of bleach/water combo for different situations), maintaining functioning and safe equipment for the kids, toys etc. for small independent centers

I’m done with the debate over this with friends. They’re going for Stein/Johnson... great. Let them do them. I voted for Bernie in the primarly but, hey... I talk about everything else with them but this election. But after all this is said and done and if by some fluke Trump wins and I see one post from them about

Nah, I think her response was absolutely perfect. Let him stew silently in his racism.
