I’ll restate what I said above:

I think the original is one of the best games ever made, but I agree with Richard here: the sequel IS boring. They just focused on putting SO many things in the game they never stopped to wonder if any of it was fun.

Your mileage may vary, obviously, but loving the original is no

The S stands for “Simple” in this case, and it means the songs don’t have any slide triggers (arrows) in them. Certainly makes things easier, but also a lot less fun if you ask me.

Thanks, I was wondering how much of an isolated thing this was, but it seems it may not be as bad as it sounds.

I’d check Kanji ANY time

Man, I was so STOKED to play this on PS4, but I’ve heard nothing but negative comments on it.

Mind you, this is GAME, so they probably staged it.

At least Capcom is still making console games, which Konami seems to be done with after Phantom Pain.

First thing any self-respecting individual should think of. Well done!

Capcom did it first

I’m pretty sure he’s still there even if you KILL him in the library...

Because they’re releasing it on their store? Surely a store owner would now when they expect to get certain games in? It has nothing to do with who’s publishing it.

Why on earth would he do a Metal Gear Kickstarter when he’s already stated he wanted to stop making new games in the series years ago? If he goes the Kickstarter route, it’ll be to do something new.
Or, if we’re lucky, something like P.T.

Didn’t see that clarification, sorry. You can blame Kinja’s borked comment system for that. It tends to show/hide comments on a whim.

Otherwise, geez, chill out, dude. No reason to react so aggressively.

I agree with ThndrMge here. That player actually looks like they’re skilled and have great control over NU, and they’re actually taking risks, which is a far cry from standing in one place and spamming the same move over and over again, like the hack featured in the article.

Disappointingly, “excellent writing” is probably the hardest thing to achieve on that list.

I’m not hating on it, I’m just saying I’m not interested after all the bad things I’ve heard about it. If they have ironed out all the bugs by now, I will probably get it when it’s on sale, yes.

Love love LOVE that movie

Yeah, the Bloodborne thing happens if you quit the game when you die by turning off the console (or just closing the app). You’ll start with your death animation the next time you log in.

Pretty sure they did this to prevent people from cheating their way out of losing their Echoes.

I thought the original AC was okay. I LOVED AC2 and Brotherhood, then skipped Revelations and AC3 because I’d had enough of the yearly releases, and I only tried AC4 because so many people recommended it, and WOW am I glad I did.
