I live less than two miles from I-75/Big Beaver and haven’t experienced it yet, not looking forward to it.

I drove my father’s 94 Ranger when I was a teenager and it had a broken gas gauge. He would always just fill it, reset the odometer and knew that he’d get about 400kms out of it.

Excellent use of space. I dig the tire rack. Go to Lowes and drop $20 on a 4'x4' white panelboard to use as a dry erase board for above your toolbox. You can keep notes on it, or just draw some trig equations on there so people think you’re some sort of professor of automobiles.

Did a few of those trips but from southern CT to Middle of Nowhere VT in the mid 00's.

I was stationed in Pburgh in the 70s. Having grown up in Florida it was my first expereince driving in snow, It does not compare to landmines, but going around a figure 8 area in a Dodge Power Wagon in 2nd and 3rd gear in snow for the first time is frightening

Two words:  situational awareness.  I wish more people had it.

Years ago while stationed in Korea we had a nice treat from one of our mountain biking partners.
