Working my first job out of college, I wasn’t feeling quite well one day. I ended up just sitting down in a bank of the telecom switch I worked at (think “rows of refrigerator-sized units”), unable to raise the strength to continue. Somehow finished my shift, and went to the doctor.

The doctor would have diagnosed a bruised brain, but on account of there being none to be found, didn’t.

You have GOT to be kidding.

Sounds a LOT like what I did, roughly September 2008, at the same dealership even.
In my case, I flew up, got stuck by a paperwork issue through early the following week, then drove home to Raleigh, NC.

Hit by a town / state vehicle? To my understanding, it’s considered your fault.

So, can this be done via a cell phone? Or over a wifi hotspot?

You have a point... but then you’d also have to rename it as a “Snuze”.

I had the joy of a loaner CR-V while my Civic Si received a new... pretty much everything in the clutch (under warranty - not my doing).

I kinda want one.

Reminds me of something I heard about the Polish parliament, circa (I think) the early 1900's, but possibly earlier. The short form was that they required unanimous agreement of the 500 or so members to take any action. Therefore, they were overrun by any opponent with the ability to make a simple decision.

I have one of these tools. It’s not a lightweight. This is the tool to take when you’re going on an unsupported long-distance ride and you want to be able to address darn near anything that can come up. It comes with its own solid case, in fact.

Bbbbbbbut... that would take WORK!?!?!

Live somewhere without a subway?

But... I do have DirecTV. :-o

Bull. It wasn’t about the truck, it was about not being able to get Uverse while his neighbor two doors down could. For years.

Clearly this guy didn’t.

Yup - the new Si is a maybe for me. Kinda tough to abandon my current Si, though, as it’s just passed 25K miles after 3 years.

It’s a Toyota Echo.

Anatomically speaking, I don’t think it’s physically possible to have relations with that triangle.
