... half a year ago? You’re quite welcome.

My flatulent 2001 VW Jetta 1.8T.

Too bad we didn’t luck out with a handy auctioneer...

That appears likely to leave splinters.

Was there a porta-potty truck right behind, charging $5 for the privilege?

I moved from the west side of Worcester up to Malden circa 1999, after taking a job in Cambridge (and getting tired of the 30 minute drive to Worcester, plus the 70 minute commuter rail ride, plus the 10 or so minute red line ride).

Doing all the research, getting the best deal... and stupidly checking again thereafter, kicking myself for not waiting ‘cause prices are SO MUCH BETTER now.

I dunno, Tom.

I totally agree - this particular arrival appeared to touch down well in advance of the yellow dot target.

Is that way to go the dual-fuel four-cylinder rotary gas diesel?

I only WISH that were me.

As a cyclist, I can confidently say that few people appreciate the ability of a dog to reach 30+ MPH and sustain it for a darn good distance. Half a mile plus, easily.

20 miles? Takes an hour?

Hey - I started out flying MS Flight Sim... 3.0?... on an 8088. Nothing at all wrong with that.

My first year there was 1989. I was roughly 14; my dad was flying (of course). He was concerned about the arrival, so we went in off hours. That is, roughly 2 AM. NOBODY was there.

Hopefully the intake is not particularly pretty.

Has he ever been to Oshkosh? I’m sure he has.

Hey - is that a gorilla in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Driving on Route 31 near Syracuse, NY, I (and the line of traffic I was in) was passed by a wheelie-ing motorcycle doing perhaps 100. I watched him disappear into the distance after that.

Even has the right front plate on it.
