Not to mention that the developers have that sweet Game Pass moolah, so any future update will be coming out of an Xbox showcase.

Also I think that including a game so anticipated would be a disservice to the other titles. These indie showcases are a good way to give some visibility to less well known titles and having a hyped-up sequel to a popular that would dominate the conversation feels counterproductive.

Maybe it’s the fact that it’s been almost 5 years since an announcement.

Makes me wanna build the “Master Chief School For Players Who Can’t Aim Good And Wanna Learn Other Stuff Too”

This is what made me fall in love with games really. Mods, maps and community modes which fundamentally change what is challenging. Something that creates a new sort of difficulty altogether. Good shit.

Its not like steamdeck excels at those huge games tho. People are more likely to play smaller indie games with a couple of the confirmed working well “big” games.

SD cards are cheap and while on paper the speed specs are different, there is barely any performance difference in practice.

The forge stuff is really cool. It’s a shame the customs browser is utterly broken.

Shame it limits you to 32 characters at a time, but it sure was entertaining making a marathon of elites power jog in circles around the blank canvas map. Next we’re going to tweak a very nice looking Helms Deep map to be more in line with

Oh boy! Been a long time since I had a good old fashion Warcraft Lore Argument!

Well Chris Metzen only worked on like... one of those expansions... but now he’s back!

I fell off the wagon years ago, what problems did Thrall cause?

To Thrall! The cause of, and solution to, all of Azeroth’s problems!”

That was exactly my assumption as well. I guess they make the PES games with Fox Engine, so they may still have some developers with experience in it, but I’ve had the impression that this game is very much contracted out, how true that impression is I have no real idea.

All the programmers of the Fox Engine left Konami. Konami didn’t update Fox Engine for PES and moved onto Unreal for eFootball.
